DiSGUSTING! The rooms are not only outdated but VERY dirty and you will be sharing the room with thousands of ants. No A/C. It was obvious the sheets were not changed from the previous guests. We chose to leave and go to a different hotel because of the conditions. Tried getting a refund but the very rude lady in the office refused. I would rather be out money than take home bed bugs or roaches. This place needs the health department contacted.

I wish I would have checked the reviews first before getting a room for my son and daughter in law. She told me the room was ready for check in but this morning after they checked out they informed me that it was full of ants food on the floor,a pair of broken glasses to hot and the couldn't adjust it also for a charge of 500 dollars for cleaning a non smoking room they found ashes on the bed sheet when they pulled back the covers . I'm so embarrassed to have them spend one night there NEVER AGAIN very filthy.....

It's pretty till you go into the room got some 70s vibes though. But the microwave didn't work no fridge hairdryer didn't work bath water runs black then they threw me and my kids out in a blizzard because I had a roach on me when I answered the door and they accused me of smoking in the room threatened to charge me 500 even though I didn't smoke in the room. And the cleaning lady saw me smoking outside. Just needed a place to stay close to work for storm since my car broke down. They were nasty and tried to make me feel like a bad mom. And they charge 100 a night. No wifi. If you have a choice don't go there.Rooms: Outdated and nothing worked

Beautiful scenery in the outdoor area right on the lake and the rooms are a no-frills place to lay your head and shower while you enjoy the townNearby activities: Has pontoon rentals right across the street connected to the motel

The Korbinskis were very kind and welcoming as I was traveling through Houghton Lake, I had to make an unexpected stop and they readily helped me occupy their last vacancy at 10PM as a walk in reservation. They were kind and good people and keep the grounds neat and tidy for anyone who likes enjoying the Lakeside throughout their stay. I would recommend this stay for a fair price on their nightly rate at about $90 this 2023 Summer season. Thank you!!!Nearby activities: Marathon gas station across the highway open 24/7Walkability: Almost 3 miles from WalmartFood & drinks: Coffee maker in each room.

Excellent service excellent location really can't ask for more be noted that the rooms are a bit outdated but very large nice Beach right there fire pits grills and just excellent people good to know also no air conditioning.Nearby activities: Swimming, boating, grilling, orv friendly, great friends!

Economical in a tourist/cottage town. Stayed for a few weeks in winter for work. Everything worked fine, bed was made and clean everyday. Room was very warm and had basic living needs intact.

I've been staying here for years, but this will be my last time. If you're looking for a cheap retro stay with no amenities, this is for you. The furniture and carpet in the rooms is old and smells, there's only 2 plugs in the entire room and there's no air conditioning. The tiny windows don't help and the fan just moves around the smell. A few upgrades and this place could be brought back to life, but it's obvious that is not in the owners interest.

Awesome little place! Very clean grounds and comfortable room, with a polite family owned environment. We enjoyed out stay in #8. We'll be back... This is not the right place for someone who requires Ritz Carlton accommodations to feel good about themselves.

A family member rented us a 2br kitchenette. It was very roomy and cozy....We ended up returning and renting a standard room a couple of days later on our way back through from Gaylord...I read some "not so positive reviews", however I'm glad we came back. It seems our Governor's lock down has put a hurting on these little places and all I can say is they're doing the best they can to recoup and update their rooms...We'll be back again for sure.

The rooms were very clean and updated for the age of the motel was a great retro place to stay nice docking facilities in Marina convenience right across the The street with convenient stores all around the area along with restaurants . The owners were very great people go out of their way for everyone there nice bonfire pit in the middle of the courtyard with a nice sandy beach and swim area for the children for all those that are unhappy with this place I could just imagine what kind of bums you are to be unhappy with such a nice motel we had no issues with ants no issues with doors falling apart clean linens and towels the kitchenettes were up-to-date and furnished we will definitely plan our snowmobiling trips to Korbinski’s Lakeview Motel this coming winter

Over 4th July weekend. Rented 2bd Kitchen room. Place is right on lake. Nice owners. NO AIR CONDITIONING. it was 90 out. For the price I paid I could stay any big hotel and had it. No place to park a boat on Property. I took my boat to Higgins instead of Houghton. No stove either. And it was a kitchenette. Water pressure was very low in the kitchen sink. Bed are hard but just being truthful. Like I said the owners are very welcoming and will help out. Very tight and small place for parking.
