After three days and driving several miles between three Target stores and hitting several barriers to get my Consumer Cellular phone activated (my old one was no longer working) I had the great fortune to be served by Blake Littlejohn in the Westnedge. It was clear that my needs did not fit his job description, so he asked his manager's permission to help me. His technical skills were just what I (a tech challenged senior citizen) needed to get connected. His courtesy and willingness to go the extra mile reminded me of my earlier years when customer service was routine and not the exception. My thanks to Blake and his manager for their sensitivity to my particular needs.

Couldn't get anyone in the store to do a price check for me. By the 3rd employee, I asked "do you know where the nearest price check station is?" He rudely replied "ummmm it's right in front of you". Each employee I asked to do a price check for me had a scanner in their hands and could have easily scanned the misplaced items for me. But I was told to look for a price check station.

I love that you can order online and if the product is in stock you pick it up sometimes within 2 hours. I've had great success using this option and it definitely saves a lot of time.

Dirty, disorganized, and lacks customer service. Nothing good to say about this store so don't waste your time

Wow. This was the worst kept Target store that I have ever been in. Mostly empty shelves and what merchandise they did have was strewn all over the floors. Or a jumbled mess on the shelves. Disgusting. I was in the Target in Battle Creek last week and it was neat and clean with beautiful stocked shelves. I think that from now on I will avoid the Portage Target altogether.

I went into the store to look at their clothes in the women's section. It looked like a tornado had gone through! Clothes were unfolded, scattered on the floor, mixed together like somebody had just come along, pulled everything off and randomly put back. I asked the clerk what it happened and she said that they've been real busy. It's 1:00 pm.

This store is always looking dingy to me and the employees never look happy. They're always running around with their heads cut off, and turnover seems to happen at this location often. Rarely any similar faces when I did shop here. I gladly go the other side of town and shop at the store on West Main. Don't waste your time or money here.

No requirement to wear a mask. Idiots should shop here so we can cull the herd. It is a government mandate. All 25 people without masks, most as groups cannot all have medical reasons

A shortage of cashiers was my only complaint about my recent visit, and considering the toilet-paper-pocolypse that was this last week -- that's pretty darn good. I've been finding that the smaller the store you go to, the calmer things are, and as such my experience here was better than Meijer and my experience but Meijer was better than Sam's Club. My experience at my local corner spice store was positively pleasant. While this visit was to pick up a waffle iron (our old one was donezo, and we just made homemade maple syrup from sap from our own trees) and to get some supplies I needed for work, we did take a look at the regular grocery shelves and they seemed well stocked. I did see a grown adult cough without covering her mouth while we were there and couldn't help exclaiming: "You're an adult ... Cover your mouth when you cough!" How on earth are we supposed to get our kids to cover their mouths if adults can't even do it? It's frustrating to see businesses bending over backwards to keep thier customers safe and some people still being so cavalier about protecting others.

Pretty much your typical Target, maybe a little smaller than some others. Admittedly, this is a tricky time to shop for clothes as it's pretty much between seasons, so some stock was out. But the store is pretty clean and the staff are helpful and kind. Target Circle is totally worth signing up for, by the way. Great benefits!!

Nice and neat store! Staff does an excellent job keeping everything tidy. Lots of good deals around the store. I mostly went in to check out the toys and plushies. I wasn't disappointed! Lots of what I wanted and more. There were friendly faces all around to help me out. When I couldn't find the toys. Someone walked over and asked if I needed help. Which I did, so I thank them very much! I really enjoy these creme filled panda bites that come in three different flavors. Target usually carries them and since it's so close to me I double love that. Convenience and availability. My friend who also had a baby recently, signed up for a baby registry there. Was surprised she could come in and pick up a baby bag full of stuff for her mommy journey. Huge thanks Target for carrying those for moms to be!

Team VP does not shop at Target very often. In fact we had not been to Target in about 12 years. We stopped in because we needed a specific product that only Target carries, so we were on a mission. This Target is old and we get it, not everything or everyone ages gracefully, but this Target is trying. The shelves were well stocked and the store was incredibly busy. We interacted with four employees (two by choice and two simply asked us how we were and if we needed anything) and all four Target members were exceptionally polite and friendly. The young man who helped us determine if Target carries another product we wanted not only looked on the shelves, but he used his computer to double check that they do not have it in the stores. Lately we have been getting a lot of young employees at other stores simply nodding in the direction of where a product might be or just telling us there is no such thing and then after we go on a search we find it hidden on a low shelf. Target was different and we think that might be a combination of good training and decent pay. Thanks Target! *The four stars are because I had the displeasure of using the restroom and it was an absolute disaster. If I had not drank almost 36 ounces of water that morning I would have walked out, but it was an emergency. Target needs to assign an employee to oversee the restroom on a more regular basis.

I've always been a big fan of Target, and what's not to love? This location, however, is just 'ok'. They always seem to be understocked in their clothing area, especially jeans, t-shirts, shoe sizes, and sweaters. I don't think it's their fault though. This is the only Target in this area of Kalamazoo, and I think with the high volume of college students the store gets used well. I love that Target now has a "foods" area, I can basically come here for all my shopping needs after work. No major complaints. Basic Target shopping experience.

Went to target with daughters for halloween stuff. Thought I would grab a snack while waiting. No pretzels, no nothing! Why are you even open then I asked. Said she would love to go home. Hmmmm Not even 7pm.
