Overall, doing business with Scotts was a fair experience, both buying and selling items. You won't get top value or anywhere close to it unless your coins/cards are certified. Keep in mind that if you're unsure of what the actual value is of an item, you will likely sell for much less than you could elsewhere or online not having it certified.

Today is my wife's and I anniversary and so obviously Its jewelry time. Off subject for a second any guys who read this and are newly married, no matter what your significant other says they always want jewelry. If you can't figure out a gift for an important day, jewelry. GUYS BUY YOUR WIFE JEWELRY MORE JEWELRY AND EVEN MORE JEWELRY. So anyways I was gonna stop at some pawn shops and pandora to see if I could find anything that stood out and as soon as I seen it I would know that's what I'm gonna get, but I was driving down westnedge and remembered Scott's jewelry. So first off the owner is always around to answer questions or help with pretty much anything and I have to imagine that hes extremely wealthy after all this time of selling and buying precious metals but hes there everytime I go in there. They never really pressure you or hover over you which is nice. The ladies that helped me today I think I remember her name but I'm not sure so I'm not gonna include it because bbn I dont wanna be rude if I get it wrong but she honestly probably hadn't worked there that long but was still very helpful and professional. Actually both the nm young ladies were awesome. I will include a pic of what I bought after I surprise my wife.

I was surprised that a shop that has been around this long lacked the competency to identify pure silver shot... told me pure gold shot is worthless... i think they are just lazy

You know when you walk in a place and feel uncomfortable? The owner was a total douche bag. I could smell it when I walked in. attitude all over the place. I was waiting to get some coins appraised so I was walking around looking at the merch. He asks me if I am looking for something particular. then tells me it's best to sit next to the door. Then I dumped the coins on the counter...he didn't look at the year or flaws in the coins just remarked its pocket change. I don't care if they are worth anything...but maybe you can look at the coins before making any comments.

This coin dealer is a scamer! I took some Morgan's In to sell 5 coins 3 unc 50 and two good rated. They came from litteton coins still sealed in wrapping. All from early 1800s. The man barely looked at them and offered 25.00 a coin. What a joke!
