Of all of the 100s of times in Kzoo, I never even knew there was a Sam's club all of this time. Not that I ever really was looking for one either. Their mini croissants look pretty good. They had a nice assortment single serve of cheesecakes, cheese and fruit danishes and muffins the size of a small babies head. The king crab legs look to be already cooked and ate even cut up for you, nice. There aren't a lot of already made food kids, like the taco kit my husband likes at their C competitor. There's a ton of pool inflatable toys, lots of outdoor patio and backyard items out too. There was a pine pergola set out that looked like a nice shelter from the sun too. I only saw snack sized Snickers, but no other snack sized chocolate treats. The checkout here are mostly self-service here.

Good team I went to make eyeglass the girls they help me a lot and in one week they called for the glasses is ready and the price $219 out door but wal mart the price was $495 + tax and the glass at Walmart it was very bad I can't see any thing with it let's go uncle sam

Clean and organized warhorse. It's often well staffed and fluid to navigate. Checkout lines are mildly long but nothing compared to Costco. Prices are mediocre, but plenty of savings on bulk items.My experience with their gas pumps haven't been pristine. The lines are longer and the gas pumps are slower, again, compared to Costco. The overall experience is a positive one. I keep coming back for their extremely affordable concessions. They have plenty of unique products fresh products that my family enjoy consuming. Keep on improving your product and processes and we'll keep coning back. Thank you for serving the Kalamazoo/Portage communities.

Anybody with a membership and a smart phone should check out and use the scan and go QR code on the gas pump. Way faster!!! ??

We had a membership at this Sams Club store about ten years ago. We found ourselves rarely shopping there so let our membership expire.They built a Costco store on the other side of town so we became members but once again found we hardly ever shopped there.Fast-forward to yesterday 5-3-2022 we decided to rejoin Sams Club. We paid for the membership then shopped around the store only to find the facility is in disrepair and filthy. Water leaking from the ceiling pooling up in the corners amongst the numerous mouse/rat traps. Trash and dirt accumulating under the racks the merchandise sits on. The so-called snack bar looked dirty and most food items were unavailable with signs blaming supply-chain problems for the lack of offerings. No hot dogs, pretzels, churro, sundaes, or yogurt ... just to name a few except we did get snotty service from the kid behind the counter who said, "Buy the pizza - it's all we got". Problem was the pizza was horrible and after two bites I threw it away.This Sams Club store needs to be gutted and remodeled...or bulldozed.Luckily there are other Sams Club stores nearby so we'll try our luck there,Now I realize why Costco is so popular. They keep their stores clean and offer much more variety of items than Sams.

Sam's meat department - especially Gary - are all about customer service. Gary is simply excellent in the cutting and preparation of pre-ordered meat orders. I have had several orders of beef tenderloins cut, trimmed and prepped by Gary - and all have exceeded my expectations. In addition, I love the fact that the guy who did all of the work, actually comes out and presents me with the order himself. Now that's pride and responsibility for one's work...a trait very hard to find these days. Kudos to Gary and the Sam's meat department in Portage - FIrst Class!

Great deals! They have very good meat! Picked up four filet mignon steaks and a 45-bottle case of water! Also found some great sweatpants for the hubby

When I ordered I asked if the blue border could be pink and was told it had to be just like the picture as it is a licensed cake. Understandable, so we got decor to match the cake. Now please tell me what happened?? Because my birthday girl is not very happy. This is not the same cake at all!! Where did all this bloody orange crap come from? Do y’all just make cakes anyway you want now without asking the customer?? If I wanted a crappy sloppy cake I would of made it myself.

We switched from Costco to here because it was so busy and made me feel very claustrophobic....this store isnt as nice as Costco but I pretty much use it for beverages and proteins and it works great for that. I like the service here as well. People are generally friendly....wish they would enforce the masks better though....too many hillbillys with it under their nose. The self pay checkout system is great during covid.

This review is solely for the gas station connected with Sam's Club. It is amazing that they have such consistently low prices. Also, the flow of the station is deeply satisfying for my weird mind that loves organization. The only reason foe four instead of five stars is that you need to have a Sam's or Walmart+ account in order to purchase gas here. It was easy to set up on my phone (Walmart+ has 15 and 30 day free trials), but it was sort of obnoxious to have to do.

Great friendly staff greeting you as you enter the store, especially Peter. what an awesome guy! The store also has security out front enforcing the mask policy so everyone is staying safe! Thanks Sam's!

They suck had 6 or 7 pallets of ice mountain 1 L bottles with a limit 1 per card we buy 5or case at a time we are truck drivers check our buying record

Miserable employees, serious turnover issues, and that's why you will get the short end of the stick on customer service here. Ever notice the long lines at the food court? Even if you're just getting gas: go to Costco instead, the gas is better for the same price. Costco is a Top Tier gas provider Sam's is not, you will get better mileage.
