Getting a hold of the department directly is almost impossible. You have to go through their "scheduling system" to get an appointment and it is terrible.Once you do finally get an appointment, you better not be a minute late. If not for those two issues, the staff is friendly and they do decent work.

Left work with a screw in my tire, all other shops nearby were unable to get my tire fixed that day. They were able to fit me into their busy schedule and were very professional and kind! Will use again for future services.

Of all of the 100s of times in Kzoo, I never even knew there was a Sam's club all of this time. Not that I ever really was looking for one either. Their mini croissants look pretty good. They had a nice assortment single serve of cheesecakes, cheese and fruit danishes and muffins the size of a small babies head. The king crab legs look to be already cooked and ate even cut up for you, nice. There aren't a lot of already made food kids, like the taco kit my husband likes at their C competitor. There's a ton of pool inflatable toys, lots of outdoor patio and backyard items out too. There was a pine pergola set out that looked like a nice shelter from the sun too. I only saw snack sized Snickers, but no other snack sized chocolate treats. The checkout here are mostly self-service here.

Good team I went to make eyeglass the girls they help me a lot and in one week they called for the glasses is ready and the price $219 out door but wal mart the price was $495 + tax and the glass at Walmart it was very bad I can't see any thing with it let's go uncle sam

I will always continue to come here for my tires, especially with Kaydon and Luke working! Those guys will take care of you, your tires, and are so friendly while doing so!! Clean and organized warhorse. It's often well staffed and fluid to navigate. Checkout lines are mildly long but nothing compared to Costco. Prices are mediocre, but plenty of savings on bulk items.My experience with their gas pumps haven't been pristine. The lines are longer and the gas pumps are slower, again, compared to Costco. The overall experience is a positive one. I keep coming back for their extremely affordable concessions. They have plenty of unique products fresh products that my family enjoy consuming. Keep on improving your product and processes and we'll keep coning back. Thank you for serving the Kalamazoo/Portage communities.

The baker we regularly order cakes from was booked out so we took a chance on Sam's Club bakery for our daughter's birthday cake. I'll be honest, I expected a Walmart/Meijer bakery tasting cake (nothing wrong with them, but not the tastiest in my opinion). I especially figured it'd be the same cake since Walmart and Sam's are owned by the same, but my expectations were exceeded in flavor! Very smooth and sweet frosting with a very moist and delicious cake. We got the white cake with buttercream frosting and I highly recommend it. They forgot one of my border colors and I thought it looked a bit plain but my daughter was excited and for $20 I doubt you'd find a more delicious cake. We shop here regularly and I plan to use this service again when I need to order cakes/cupcakes. (We purchased cake and cupcake toppers separately and added them at home)

Don’t go here to get a tire repaired. Had a screw in ours and figured “heck, they offer free repairs. Why not.” Went there and they said “oh it can’t be plugged, you’ll have to buy a tire.” And then they “tested” the tire tread on our tires and said they were at a 4. We bought the car a couple months prior and it was at an 8 when we got it. We’ve only put 5k on it since. Came home and looked at the tread with a penny and it was more than fine. Lesson learned. The screw was also no where near the sidewall and could have been plugged by them. If you’re thinking about coming here to get it plugged, you’re better off looking up a YouTube video and doing it yourself because they’ll try to trick you into getting new tires.

Terrible Service. The person was not helpful, tried to turn me away, argued with me about the size of my tires and wouldn't take my word for it til I went and took a picture. Told me the wait was 1.5 hours, which doesn't matter in an emergency. From his first sentence he didn t want to help me. And since the w we bite said they had the tires, I think he lied about not having them so I would go away, which I did. I had to go pay full price somewhere else instead of using the discount that I count on.

Anybody with a membership and a smart phone should check out and use the scan and go QR code on the gas pump. Way faster!!! ??

We had a membership at this Sams Club store about ten years ago. We found ourselves rarely shopping there so let our membership expire. They built a Costco store on the other side of town so we became members but once again found we hardly ever shopped there. Fast-forward to yesterday 5-3-2022 we decided to rejoin Sams Club. We paid for the membership then shopped around the store only to find the facility is in disrepair and filthy. Water leaking from the ceiling pooling up in the corners amongst the numerous mouse/rat traps. Trash and dirt accumulating under the racks the merchandise sits on. The so-called snack bar looked dirty and most food items were unavailable with signs blaming supply-chain problems for the lack of offerings. No hot dogs, pretzels, churro, sundaes, or yogurt ... just to name a few except we did get snotty service from the kid behind the counter who said, "Buy the pizza - it's all we got". Problem was the pizza was horrible and after two bites I threw it away. This Sams Club store needs to be gutted and remodeled...or bulldozed. Luckily there are other Sams Club stores nearby so we'll try our luck there, Now I realize why Costco is so popular. They keep their stores clean and offer much more variety of items than Sams.

Sam's meat department - especially Gary - are all about customer service. Gary is simply excellent in the cutting and preparation of pre-ordered meat orders. I have had several orders of beef tenderloins cut, trimmed and prepped by Gary - and all have exceeded my expectations. In addition, I love the fact that the guy who did all of the work, actually comes out and presents me with the order himself. Now that's pride and responsibility for one's work...a trait very hard to find these days. Kudos to Gary and the Sam's meat department in Portage - FIrst Class!
