Such a beautiful building inside and out. Friendly and welcoming staff. So much to see and do. Plenty of activities for Family and everyone. Check out the event calendar. Highly recommend!

I recently spent time at the Portage District Library for the first time after its renovation (a couple years ago) and WOW. Wonderfully done, without losing its original charm. I say this as a patron of the library since 1974. From the cafe space, just at the entry, the spacious atrium (from which you can see pictured my vantage point working all day), to the helpful staff in the Fax/Copy/Print media area and also youth sections downstairs. Just fantastic and worth a visit!

Great library with free parking! A large kids and teens section, great graphic novel section, and great adult section. They also offer 3D printing at this library! They have plenty of bathrooms including disabled and gender neutral friendly restrooms downstairs. Their selection of DVDs is smaller than Kalamazoo’s selection, and I was looking for animated films and couldn’t find any. Perhaps I wasn’t looking in the right spot, but that was the only complaint I had. Other than not being able to find animated films and a rather small movie collection, I think this library is really great.
