Poor communication with customer and physician. There wscript down for three days. Told very uncareingly, I would have to call physician and have them send another way. Which I did, have proof that scripts were called in at 6:07 put again tech on phone said they didn't have. Doctor's office closed till Monday and by then I will be in serious withdrawal. Don't use this pharmacy if you really need your medication in a timely basis. They don't care

If confusion & disfunction happens once it’s understandable. Yet, year over year emergency scripts either aren’t received via normal technology, not filled due to lack of stock, or simply pushed back because they are busy. My doctor automatically sends scripts to this pharmacy, it’s disappointing EVERY-TIME. I genuinely believe that if I were to have driven to the next meijer pharmacy I would get better service and timely prescription pick ups. Portage you have improvements to make.

Pharmacy is horrible!! A pharmacy employee that works there was on a HUGE power trip & it was during theThanksgiving holiday so I was unable to get medication that i have been prescribed for 15+ years. Just moved to Portage & switched to this particular Meijer pharmacy from another Meijer pharmacy. Unfortunately, it was my 1st & worst experience with a pharmacy ever!! Portage is amazing, I love it, but this pharmacy & moreso pharmaciy employee was the WORST!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! STEER CLEAR!!!

If the script isn't ready keep your damn drive through lane moving.. it should not be an hour wait for a few vehicles!!!! Get it together and learn how to run insurance versus "discount cards"

Our family has received shots and had prescriptions filled here for over 2 years and we have had great service and very few instances where we were not able to get a prescription filled or additional time was needed. Sometimes the drive through does have a decent line, but most often moves through it in a timely fashion. (Also I would rather the pharmacy technicians are taking the time to double check prescriptions instead of moving through the line faster….)

Get ready to wait an hour every single time you go through the drive through and then have them tell you “oh, the shipment didn’t come in today, come back tomorrow for this very important medication that is time sensitive”.. then you get to wait in line an hour twice. It happens almost every single time.

Twice Meijer pharmacy on Shaver Road has screwed up my husband's heart medications prescriptions. Most recently, a single bottle of a Eliquis (one month supply) was billed as a three month supply. Eliquis is still on patent so it will cost a small fortune to get the meds he needs! We are switching pharmacies!

Around 6pm on Jan 10, 2023 I dropped off a script and they said come back in 30-40min for pickup. I came back an hour later and they said they called the vet because the dosage they have comes in a different form than what the vet prescribed, but did not get a response. I called them today, Jan 11, 2023 at 4:35pm asking if they got word back from my vet to change the type. They said no so I asked if I needed to call, but they said they’d try again. I called back a half hour later and they said yes, they got confirmation from the vet and it’s being fulfilled. I asked if I should wait 40min again before picking it up and they said yes. I ended up coming back at 6:10pm, over an hour later and they said it’d still be another 20min. Didn’t know it took 2hrs to fill 15 tablets for one person….

Since I had my birth control script filled out online, my birth control is not covered by my insurance which is fine. $20 for three months isn’t bad. But it always seems that this Pharmacy wants to give me some off brand of the birth control that I am paying out of pocket for that is not on my script. I understand that they are the same thing but the packaging is different and since I keep my birth control in my purse, I need the one better packaging especially since I’m paying out-of-pocket for it. They ordered some cheap looking birth control instead of the one ON my script. If I wanted Simpesse I would’ve asked for that one specifically, but I asked for Camrese. If you want to give me the option to get it sooner then call me instead of thinking I’m okay with a cheaper off brand.

This store sucks! Only 3 registers open and I'm 12th in line. Half the items I needed were out of stock. Couldn't find one person to help! I bet Peter Meijer doesn't shop here!
