This establishment is very small, it is a husband and wife duo. When me and my little sister walked in to get her nails done, she was told to take a seat and they would be right with us. HOWEVER it was a good 45min wait to even be seen or talked to. After seeing the mixed reviews on the price we asked Kathy right away after showing her the nail design just a basic purple set with one nail design of flowers, how much it would be. Right away she dodged the question, and said well let's put one nail on first and see the length. Then left to go work on another client, then when she walked back we tried to clarify that we wanted the same length in our reference photo, and again questioned how much it would be. She said 60. Exuse me, I thought in my head, 60 DOLLARS for only a full set?! But she needed her nails done so we stayed.
Kathy and Tom are lovely people but, their establishment isn't the best. The cleanliness is, what's the word? Not the best, they go from client to client, and use THE SAME EQUIPMENT USED ON OTHER PEOPLE. WITHOUT BEING SANITIZED. For example they never changed their gloves, NOT ONCE in our 2 HOURS being there. Their equipment is disgusting. You would think that an establishment with 4 ? would be clean. But nope, their acetone was in a dirty dusty PLASTIC container. And to make it worse she accident nicked my sisters cuticles with the drill, WHICH WAS ALSO USED ON OTHER CLIENTS WITHOUT BEING CLEANED. The only reason I gave grace to them with 2 ? instead of 1, is bc they were genuinely kind and sweet people, but the service sucked besides that. Will not be coming here again EVER. If you're looking for a nice nail salon in Kalamazoo, don't come here. Go to fashion nails and spa.

ive been to multiple nail salons and i have NEVER been to a place with as grea service as master nails. the nail techs did an outstanding job on my nails and she took her time to make them look amazing. most nail salons rush through. master nails has wonderful customer care!! thank you for making my day!

Cathy and her husband are so amazing and did so great on me and my homegirls nails and reasonable prices ❤️ Only coming here anytime I’m in kzoo hands down best shop. They also do the nail shaping SOOOOOOO well

Tom did amazing on my pedi It was very much worth these 5 stars……..I have been to tons of places in the area theirs no one topping him! Hands down the best. Kathy did a wonderful job on my natural nails as well I’m team Master Nail I have not found any place close to them as of yet check em out don’t take my word for it ?

Whenever I go here I’m always pleased with my nails Cathy is amazingly talented with free styling creative designs and doing the latest trends in nails… this place is a gem and my new nail spot I vow not to go anywhere else and get such results!!! They’re Best hands down!

Wow. So this was my first nail experience in Michigan. They charged 45$ for a "deluxe" pedicure apparently thr cheapest option n there was nothing special about it. Tom was sweet. Anyways cost 100$ without tip, for a basic pedicure n fill with red polish. Well I told them hang on one second went to the car to ask my boyfriend for 20 extra dollars and he's like why are they taking pics of my car. They legitimately thought I was gunna run off? Woah. I drove 30 mins for Kathy in particular n she just had a sour attitude n seemed to be rushing n very overpriced n old tools if u ask me. Will definitely not be returning. Very unfortunate and not happy. And I used to live in Chicago lmao. They held my phone while I went out to get tip money people. Like what. I am white BTW. A tattooed white girl lol.
