Unfortunately, they don't take mattresses that are in perfectly good shape.

I LOVE this place. So many amazing deals. The staff are a group of amazing people that are willing to help in any way that they can. I have gotten some very nice pieces here fairly cheap- as well as things that I needed for the structure of my home such as doors, cabinets, and even a specialized bolt for a 150 year old light fixture we were rehabbing. Hands down recommend this place.

They put the closed sign several minutes before closing and shrugged at me. Don’t say you’re open until 6 if you aren’t. ?♀️

Very clean and organized. Easy to find what I was looking for and more. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Glad to be able to give back and get deals in return!

Great prices compared to almost anywhere in Kalamazoo or portage. Fantastic people too. Lost a personal item while I was there and they held on to it for multiple weeks until I came back. Helped get our couch in the truck. Great experience everytime

We purchased NEW rugs yesterday that, unfortunately, needed to be bigger when placed in the area we thought they would fit. The store will not allow us to return new items within 24 hours of purchase. We consider this policy highly unreasonable for NEW items.

A “habitat for humanity” location but when I stopped by to donate very nice shelving and closet doors they wouldn’t accept them. How are you actually helping the less fortunate? The front desk lady was rude and seemed to only care about making money.

Love the store. Most of the staff are helpful, while others could use a customer service training. But they are volunteers. I guess you get what you pay for.

This location is absolutely ridiculous. They got a fridge in and they told me they had to run it for 24 hrs before they could sell it. They said they would give me a call as soon as they made sure it was fully running and able to be sold. I called two days later after never receiving a call and they sold it to someone else. Would not trust the people in there and would rate a 0 star if available. Absolutely pathetic

Organized thank you. A lady asked if we needed help.

Was there today. They reopened about a month ago. Clean, well organized, customer service above and beyond. Found a nice bookcase. I'll go back again.

This restore just reopened yesterday after being temporarily closed for the past few months. Not impressed at all. Before they closed we would stop in weekly, and usually found great deals on many items. This is what we'd had hoped to see upon reopening, but that wasn't the case. Just about everything in the store was overpriced. GREED rearing its ugly head again. Especially since the items/products are donated to restore. The manager was not willing to budge on any price, did not honor the price we were quoted, and definitely not customer friendly. I'll give this particular store 6 months before it will be shutting its doors permanently. Habitat needs to rethink its restore structure, and get back to the way it was before it temporarily closed. We definitely will not be returning.

We've been shopping around for a new dresser for one of our kids, and since I work in Kalamazoo I planned to stop by here after work today. However, I arrived at 4:02 and the store was already closed for the day. 4 PM closing on a weekday?! Is this a retail store or a breakfast diner? How can they possibly get enough customers to stay in businesses?
