The place is extremely cluttered and like all gamestops is overpriced on every single thing they sell. Wish gamestop would get back to its roots and expand like all other businesses are.

I had promised my child all day that before we went home, we would stop and get the pokemon etb that was on sale for 34.99 at Gamestop, which we saw on their website. When we stopped in, they said they had the etb, but if I wasn't a paid rewards member, they couldn't sell it to me for the price that they had it advertised for online. I'm not talking about the extra few dollars off for the paid rewards member, but the everybody price that was listed on their website. First, there was nothing on the website stating that it was an online only price. Secondly, how absolutely ridiculous of a policy is it that they won't honor their own prices unless you pay for a 25 dollar a year rewards membership? The employee said this was a new policy from the manager. What a great way to lose customers. So, needless to say, we left without Pokemon cards, went elsewhere to purchase them that actually honors their advertised prices, and we will absolutely never go back to Gamestop.

Not very friendly. We stopped in to get ps5 controllers but couldn't get any help so we just left. We were never acknowledged or told "I'll be with you when I can"

Signed up for one year of pro membership, then I get an email congratulating me on opting in to the auto renewal program, where I’ll be charged every year. That’s a scam. They tried to scam me.

This location isn’t necessarily smaller than other ones but it always feels super tiny and cramped. Every time I’m in there I have people bumping into me and hovering over my shoulder breathing on me. It also just feels like stepping back in time as everything is dusty, run down and faded. It’s like corporate just forgot about this location 10 years ago and they’ve been using glue & popsicle sticks to hold it all together. The staff is always friendly. It just seems like the owner doesn’t care much about the presentation of the business.

Pretty good ? other game shops have better prices, but if you can't find them there- your best bet is here... and they're pretty nice... but if you're trying to sell games- go somewhere else, definitely...

I purchased an order online and for some reason, my address defaulted to an undeliverable one. The item was shipped back to the Kalamazoo location. That location contacted me to get the correct address to ship it back out. Several days later and I had not received my order. Contacted the Kalamazoo location and they referred me to the Portage location and to ask to speak with the general manager who would have handled the reshipment (the Kalamazoo location was very friendly, professional and kind). I phoned to speak with the general manager. Was informed that he was in a meeting and the person, Peter said "So, how can I help you." I begin to explain to him what happened, made the mistake of saying Kalamazoo office instead of store and he, first of all rudely corrected me "First of all, we don't have offices, we have stores" and told me that he can not help me and to contact customer service. Not only was he rude, but did not allow me to fully explain my situation and said "let me stop you there"...cutting me off. So rude and unprofessional. Peter, you do not need to work in a customer service environment.
