We had a house fire and this company was hired by our insurance to handle fabric and technology restoration. There was an issue with them receiving their payment from the insurance adjuster, which had nothing to do with us as clients—we paid our insurance to do their job so the issue was between our insurance and them. However, they held our stuff hostage basically until they received payment. I understand wanting to be paid for your services but this only punished myself and my family and we were unwitting participants in their squabble. What’s more is that we received a box that had contents from someone else entirely included. Like a complete stranger’s medicine and wallet contents including personal information. Now I’m worried they could have just as easily mixed our contents up with someone else’s stuff as well. If they had acted more professionally then maybe this review would be different because the initial interaction with them wasn’t negative. But I’m sorely disappointed in the way things ended, and the lack of decorum on their part.

Overall, I had an excellent experience with FRSTeam. Unfortunately, I had smoke and soot damage to all of my belongings, and their staff were very kind, helpful, and professional, which really makes a difference when facing such a tragedy. The first staff member that I encountered, Dan, literally let me cry on his shoulder, and the people who packed and sorted out the rest of my belongings were so nice and very professional, along with the lady who returned the rest of my belongings.Equally as important, the quality of their work is EXCEPTIONAL. Everything was efficiently catalogued, cleaned, and packed. There were some clothing/textile items that came back in BETTER condition than before the smoke damage, along with some of my kitchen items! I was stunned at how amazing of a job they did at cleaning everything. The kitchen items were SPARKLING clean. There were some items that did not make it of course, and they even included them so its very transparent and you get to see which items didn't make it. There was NO smoke damage smell or soot residue in or on anything that they were able to successfully clean, and as I requested, they used a gentler detergent so that there was no harsh/severe chemical cleaning smell either.Also, they were more knowledgeable and honest about smoke damage effects than any other company I encountered. They were right about which types of materials/items could be salvaged, while another company returned smelly/chemically damaged items to me.I highly recommend FRSTeam and trust them. Their prices are worth it and I would seek their services again if needed in a heartbeat.

Their website claims "FRSTeam will store your clothing at our facility until you and your home are ready for us to deliver. In the meantime, consider our warehouse your “closet.” You are welcome to schedule a time to view and pick up any additional items you need.BUT here is the response I got to a request to inspect and pick up my clothing " Due to insurance limitations, our facilities are not open to the public, nor do we have the staff to meaningfully facilitate the unpaid time and efforts to do so."
