Jalen’s friendly and professional demeanor truly made my shopping experience enjoyable, and it’s clear he goes above and beyond for customers. Attentive and welcoming, making sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed. Overall store cleanliness was up to par, some of the beat up cracked benches could be replaced.

Tried using a $10 off code that was texted to me while buying a new pair if shoes and the employees, including the manager refused to apply the discount and wasted my time.
The manager, specifically, was rude and told me that he could give me the discount, but that he wouldn’t. I would avoid this place at all costs.

After sitting there for 15 min waiting to get some help. We just left. Workers standing there doing nothing. Watched us get up and not even say anything. How do you even stay in business?

Unless you know anything about shoes do not go there you are hardly greeted If you don't know what you're looking for you will be looking for hours once you find the shoes you want from the time they go up to the counter with them and put them in the bag they put it the wrong shoes in your bag not even same model then when you call to figure out where your shoes went they said must have sold them sorry definitely like it when finish line was there their selection of shoes is garbage

I enjoy the service I receive at this location, could be a little faster to greet or acknowledge you’re in the store. This I feel is due to the employees being younger and I believe they’ll get better. Thank you for being military friendly. Store is clean. Items clearly marked. Overall appearance is welcoming.

First and foremost I’m appalled at how I was treated today at JD shoe store in PORTAGE MI. When I say talked too with disrespect was at it’s all time high. The team member was very unpleasant and unprofessional. If looks could kill he would have ate my face alive! His hand gestures and facial expressions EVEN behind a mask told it ALL! he refused to exchange a pair of all white forces from a size 13 to a size 12 today. The shoes were purchased as a gift on or around Christmas of 2020 and the wrong size was purchased. Due to COVID-19 as everyone knows MICHIGAN HIT the hardest for this DEADLY VIRUS. I have been taking the right precaution for COVID-19 (SORRY MY FAULT FOR BEING CAUTIOUS!!!!!) And have not been able to make it in sooner to exchange the shoes. The salesman began to tell me he could not exchange the shoes because I did not have a receipt but indeed I did have a receipt so when I presented the receipt to him he said that there’s nothing he can do because it has exceeded his return policy (SORRY MY FAULT IT IS COVID-19 so people aren’t leaving their homes as they normally do!) . Mind you, I am not returning for money! I just want to exchange for the right size! He then proceeded to say well I still cannot exchange the shoes for you because they are worn! I said excuse me?! These shoes have NEVER BEEN worn because my HUSBAND didn’t even try them on because he knew instantly it was the incorrect size! He began waving the shoe at me saying the laces are dirty the shoes are creased and I need to leave because he is refusing to help me.I am attaching photos of the CLEAN shoes! This horrible salesman needs another round of training for customer service skills! I have never been treated like this when JD WAS finish line. This company is making a bad reputation because I, myself will never return along with my family (and there is a bunch of us who shop there) I am escalating this further on!

Wonderul staff. Clean store. I travel almost a hour for the selection and service. Nicheal I think it was was a super nice and helpful employee. I will be back with my 4 kiddos soon. Great deals also! Thank you.
