My Dr. ordered CPAP machine online to Carelinc. After 2 weeks of not getting contacted I called only to be told they didnt have my prescription. Ok, so I called my Dr. office and was told it was submitted and they would call CareLinc which they did then called me back saying Carelinc never looked at the online order. PROBLEM 1 fixed. PROBLEM 2. I am a newbie to CPAP and depended on them to deliver a useable system. Didn't get one, got nasal pillows too large. Called CareLinc to get a smaller set and was told nasal pillows were not on the script. Again called my Dr. office who had to call and straighten it out. Of course it was ordered, got a call from Grand Rapids office apologizing for the mis-information. Yet when I called them back, I got the same back info with the disclaimer, let me check with a supervisor, was sure it wouldn't be a problem. PROBLEM 3. got my nasal pillows promptly but wrong size. 3 problems, 2 weeks, Dr. office had to get involved, 1 of the 3 customer representatives were pleasant on the phone, the other 2 were rude. I wish we had other options for medical supplies but we really dont. Which is probably why customers get treated so shabbily,

Our initial interaction with this business was when my girl purchased a lift chair for me in '08. I had suffered a quadriceps tendon tear in my left knee, and following surgery my knee was going to be immobilized for several weeks with a knee brace that went from ankle to mid thigh. So I needed an alternative way of sitting and lying down to sleep. The lift chair we purchased from CareLinc, which was at its Westnedge site then, was perfect. It was brought to the house so I could use it as soon as I was discharged from the hospital. And it's been perfect up until now, when it suddenly stopped working. This CareLinc site had moved from Westnedge to Portage Rd. by then. The staff thought it might be the remote - I later discovered that the Achilles Heel for the chair is the remote (or conversely, the part of the chair that is most likely to be mishandled or mistreated by chair owners is the remote) - and they were able to get me a replacement in several days. And it later turned out the remote was not broken, which led me to contact CareLinc's chair technician up in Grandville. I found the two staff people on Portage Rd. with which I interacted (the first one made the order for the remote, the second one delivered the remote to me at the office) to be efficient but not very customer friendly.

I called to ask some questions about a prescription for a walker and shower seat. The person I spoke to was wonderful and so helpful. Thankful for the time she spent explaining how everything works for insurance and what to expect.

I was directed here from my doctor to order a sleep apnea. I am a first time user and an not familiar with the product, During my visit i was provided with the machine and the airfit p10 nose covering mask. I took it home but found that the mask they recommended did not work for me due to issues with the airways in my nose. Instead of letting me change out the mask the said I need to try it out for 2 weeks to ensure its not a good fit, I then asked for a bigger size pillow to see if that could help. Two weeks later I called to try a full mask as the airfit p10 was still not working. They seemed annouyed but eventually took my order. It has almost been a month (grace period that I can test masks to find the right fit) and I just found out after I called that the mask was never ordered. They didn't see to care or want to solve any issues for me. Just said I can send you to my managers voicemail if you are not happy. HORRIBLE EXPERENCE. Reading other experiences This is not uncommon for this company

I had a simple question: can I "rent to buy" a mobility scooter. I was put on hold and bounced around 3 times. I will not utilize their services and I recommend anyone who calls them have a lot of patience and a large coffee nearby.

Went in to get CPAP replacement equipment. I asked for all new accessories as I was eligible for everything. Got everything but one part. Went in to figure out if it just not delivered yet or if it was never ordered. I got a snarky comment from one of the office ladies that was not who I was talking to, "you can only get those once every six months", to which I simply replied, "I have not gotten a new one in over a year". Apparently I was taken as the rude person because the lady that was helping me rose to defend her coworker. Secondly the lady I was originally speaking to was the one that did not order in the first place. I will find a new place to order my equipment through, because customer service is clearly not something that CareLink offers by my experience and the reviews online.

I came 3 times for a pair of socks my doctor ordered and they told me after the last time they would mail them to me. Then on top of that, I call asking about them weeks later and they have no record of needing to mail them. Tired of the run around and LONG wait.

As my parents' primary caregiver, I have been to CareLinc many times. Most often, it does not seem that the people working in the storefront office are very caring or as helpful as they might be. Perhaps it would help if they put themselves into the role of their customers. We are people doing our best in a difficult situation to care for sick, disabled, often elderly frail relatives that we love. With that lens, maybe, just maybe they could extend a little more kindness and be a little more helpful. I know that I would appreciate that. Until they are able to do that, I couldn't recommend their business. In fact, we are looking to change our medical provider to another provider. CareLinc: you might wish to realize that we live in a competitive business world. Consumers have choices.

Worst customer service ever! The lady working wouldn't pay attention to me insisting they didn't have my prescription. This is my first time here & all I got was attitude, a bad one. I will never go there nor recommend it!

The staff act like they don't want to be there. They are not welcoming or interested in the customer just order takers. Not very friendly at all. I had to get a walker from there last week. When I got home and googled it I found that I had paid over twice what it was online. And you wonder why your medical insurance costs are so high? Suppliers! Even though my specific CPAP supplies should be in their computers they are constantly sending me the wrong ones. The only thing good I can say about CareLinc is that my supplies arrive the next day. Whether they are the right ones or not is a coin toss. I need to find a different medical equipment supplier asap.

I would think an adult coming in looking for pediatric equipment would be treated kindly. Obviously, a child is either injured, or sick, or needing a great deal of help, if someone is looking for pediatric equipment. Instead, I was treated like what I was asking for was ridiculous. And that why would I not expect to pay a lot of money to rent something that was pediatric. The one service person bordered on rude. I went to Lending Hands and was kindly treated and helped with what they could for my four-year-old grandson.

This provider is the worst one I have ever dealt with. A price gouger and a monopolist who takes advantage of people. I recently needed to rent an alternating pressure release mattress for my quadriplegic relative who we wanted to come visit us in Michigan for a couple of days. This provider was the only one in town who was renting out the mattress. They quoted me a monthly rental price of $650 for the mattress and pump and refused to do anything less than a 2-week rental for $378. We only needed the mattress for a couple of days and that price was just too much to pay. I tried calling around all their branches and even though the branch managers were willing to do the weekly rental, they were told by the head office that they should charge $378. The manager even had the audacity to call me up and tell me not to call the other locations because he had told them all to charge me the same rate!!!!!

They were able to ship to me when I was out of town. Excellent service, fair pricing.

They've turned me away twice. First time because she needed a prescription. Then I told her I'd buy them and she didn't want to sell them to me because she said I might have to have them specially made. Now 1 yr later I bring her a prescription and she wants me to go get another prescription that basically says I had surgery 3 yrs ago. I have insurance and the doctor wrote a prescription out but she wants more detail. Place sucks to me.
