I jumped on the Internet to get the number to Boat City Marine who I've done business with over the past years for both purchases and repairs on a small fleet that I have here on Barton Lake. I had to write this review because I was confused about the low rating I saw from three or four people apparently. . . seven years ago?? My experience has been wonderful with Boat City Marine and the service and personal attention I have received from Chris, his wife (Lori) and other staff members. I'm heading that way this morning with the tritoon to drop it off for its oil change and check up. Last year we had our 'guest/kids pontoon' in the shop for some repairs and what I thought might be an engine replacement was solved by several component upgrades at a fair price and in a timely manner. OK, well, I had to write that because the star low rating that I saw previously is the complete opposite of my experience here. Jim R

Chris and Laurie are honest, timely and reasonable. The service team is always eager to help keep boats safe and on the water. They offer honest advice and regularly go above and beyond to solve issues. I've purchased 2 boats from Boat City and their purchase process is fair and straightforward. Boats here are not cheap, but are reliable and appropriately priced. Good local business to keep around!

I decided to take my boat here for the first time, and I’m glad I did! My outboard wasn’t starting and the guys at Boat City Marine quickly diagnosed it as a bad enrichener. They had a new one put in and water tested the boat for me. They got it back to me within a week and it’s running great now! I will be coming back in the future. Thanks Boat City Marine team!

Sold me the wrong part and wouldn't take it back. If they actually cared about their customers they would make it right. Asked if they would at least trade it for a part that was less than half the value and they still said no. You've lost my business boat city marine!
