Took the kids to Disney and surprised them with an extra Universal Studios ticket. The only nice thing I can say about the trip was the resort. Very happy with the resort.
We told the agent exactly what we wanted several times over the phone. When we went in to sign the paperwork we caught the first mistake on our Disney tickets. So that had to be corrected and it cost us more money. Then halfway through our vacation we double checked our Universal Studios tickets and realized those tickets were not what we asked for either!?!. My fault I guess, I should have caught that too at the signing. I called to have them corrected and was told I had to take care of it myself. ? Which again, cost more money. We were on vacation the money we had was our spending money not cool ?

I called AAA for a tow and after 3 1/2 hours of waiting with no driver assigned I walked home and got my friend with a pickup to tow me.

I drove an hour into town specifically to come to AAA to get my international drivers permit. Before heading there, I called the office to confirm that someone would be at the office at 12:30 to get this done, and I was told that they would absolutely be able to do that for me. When I arrived at 12:30, I told the front worker what I was there for. He said, “oh, we only have one person who does that and she went to lunch a little while ago. She should be back in around an hour or so.” I had meetings I had to get back to, so I had to leave and head back home. Now, I have to move around my other meetings next week and just hope that I don’t drive an hour there and back for nothing. This was highly disappointing and quite unprofessional.

Angel was awesome. We got our IDP we no issues. Having an AAA membership saved us the photo cost. 12 bucks each.

Visited the establishment for an international driving permit. Staff was quick, friendly, competent and very welcoming. Enthusiastically recommend. AAA Portage can provide the photos required for the international driving permit on site and cheaper than CVS, Walgreens, etc..

Disclaimer, I work at AAA as a travel agent so I see how they treat people every day. I'm so impressed with the customer service and the focus on service to members and nonmembers. I'm so happy being a travel agent at AAA. I love that we are passionate about traveling, seeing the world you want to see the way you want to see it. The Insurance agents are just as passionate. The Front Desk crew are willing to help from road maps to quick and efficient payments taken. I know because it's a great place to work as well.
