this store is iconic…
as a child candy addict in the late 90s, i used to come here daily to get my fix. they even let me rollerblade in the store.
i moved away, and 10+ years later the lady who worked there still recognized me! amazing! haven’t been in years but i will never forget the spirit shoppe.

every time we use there shipping service we come away saving what nice people to deal with. They let me pay in canadian funds and are always courteous and helpful. so glad we found them.

They must have new owners? Always a pleasant experience with them until recently - Now it is the rudest shop south of Lexington! If you have to stop here just keep your head down and take extra cash. Or, drive a half mile in any direction (except east) and you will find a store that wants your business.

Nothing wrong with this place. Also they had bait when no one else around did. You can walk the riverwalk all the way back to the lake, which is a beautiful path.
