Don't file taxes here. She did it wrong and I'm being audited. They even misspelled my name. So called corrected. Numbers aren't correct. They were rude. Didn't help me. I went to HR Block and couldn't help because of Judy who did it to begin with. It's to late its already in audit. Will be notified in September.

You lied. Everything is right she said. Right.

This place is a joke. And the "senior" food boxes are pathetic. NOTHING good in them, and I mean NOTHING. Its all junk, and alot of it is expired. Cant even make a meal out of it. Theres a few of us who stopped picking up our boxes a long time ago bcuz of it. The "ladies" in the office are rude as hell. ESP THE BLACK LADY. DONT KNOW WHAT HER PROBLEM IS. Dont waste your time with this place.

They were very VERY nice to me. This means a lot to me, since my husband passed away three months ago. They did not know this, and they were still nice to me!!!! This means more to me than you realize!! Thank you!!

I have had terrible experiences with Candace Lisa and Kathy. They've left me in the woods after not paying for my Hotel. Didn't hellp me when I had fraudulent charges on my debit card. Paid bills I didn't authorize them too shorting my money to live on. And several times including today didn't deposit my money on time and refuse to call me after leaving my number and urgent messages several times. I am filing a complaint with the SSA and becoming my own Payee

I can't say I'm thrilled. Not only did Sara deny the application for rental assistance two days before the deadline for the paperwork but she also acted extremely incompetent about her job. I was in the restroom changing my baby and she was in the lobby sitting there. She didn't introduce herself or anything. After 10 min of us sitting there I looked over to her and asked if she was sara. Then during the process of completing the paperwork she was extremely disrespectful. I was in need of help. No uneducated. The whole process was a mess. No Brian's. I also heard from alot of other people they deny damn near everyone

Where is the help for us homeless people? I have been in a Domestic Violence Shelter since August 2nd 2022 and I'm still homeless and have to bounce around. There is no help here unless you have income. I thought that homeless people were first priority. But Port Huron states otherwise. I feel like they pick and choose because they tell you that you don't have to have income for them to help you. Which is false information because you do have to have income in order for them to help you. The Section 8 waitlist is open but it takes 2-3 years to even get to the top of the list. The EHV list is a 1 year long waitlist. So where is the help for us homeless people. This is sad because Port Huron has billions of dollars and they haven't helped homeless people, they are helping people who are purchasing homes. So who are here to help us homeless people. NO ONE!!!!!

The BWAC does so much for the community and county of St Clair (myself included). They offer services such as money management assistance, help with utilities and food assistance, their preschool program, financial literacy and homeownership classes, help with home foreclosures applications, and so much more.
The very best thing about the BWCA is their INCREDIBLY AMAZING EMPLOYEES who throw themselves into helping and do so without reservation.
The BWAC employees exude compassion, respect and kindness and serve their positions with immense dignity and privacy considered for those who need and seek help.
Candice, Kathy and Pam E
have specifically done SO much for my husband and I during a very difficult time in our lives. The beautiful people handing out food have also shown such kindness and grace, even in brutally hot weather on a Saturday, no less!
Please seek the BWAC’s help if ever in need. You won’t be sorry.
Thank you to all the BWAC and that sweetheart of a lady at the from desk, too. You make seeking help easier and the dedication and support you have shown my husband and I has brought comfort and peace to our hearts. ♥️

Blue Water Community Action Agency - Roxane Kolman, Bernie, Melinda Johnson gave me a better life, raised my standard of living and took me out of poverty.
They advocate for and provide people with limited income an opportunity to become socially and economically self-sufficient in their community!
They are the only agency I know that accomplishes their goal on a daily basis!
