“Nice little hotel, friendly staff, nice pool. Just beware when traveling the deer are everywhere. We where so careful but still hit one and destroyed our truck. Be safe and enjoy your vacation.

“We booked this place for this weekend, Sept. 7&8. The price was fair. We loved the room, it was clean and had everything we needed.

Their restaurant was closed for the season but that gave us a chance to explore and find great places for food. The location of Dark Sky is perfect imo as it is just far enough away from town to be in the country but not too far from town either.

They have a nice pool in the back with comfy chairs outside. The contact-less check in/out they do is super convenient. They left us awesome little extras in the room such as a monoscope and a bird guide, a hammock with straps and a few other things as well.

The only thing I can see being an issue for others (it wasn't a problem for us) is that the shower is a bit cramped. But all in all, this is a great little place to serve as your headquarters for your stay in the area. We will definitely be coming back in the summer.”
