Do not go to this establishment. My initial consultation was with Dr. St. Louis, who was rude, sarcastic and dismissive as I struggled to get the correct prescription in my first three attempts. Even switching doctors to Dr. Dustman within the same practice has not helped. While at first she was refreshingly knowledgable and compassionate, my prescription was still not right. When I arrived for an 11:15 am re-check appointment to seek a solution, I waited an hour and a half before I became frustrated and decided to leave. I was told it was a busy morning. The office staff never offered an apology, nor did they explain when I checked in that the doctor was running significantly behind, as if this was business as usual (it seemed pretty early in the day to be that far behind unless they were scheduling appointments every 10 minutes). I have no idea how much longer I would have waited beyond the hour and a half, but I do know there were two other patients in front of me waiting to see Dr. Dustman, so likely another 45 minutes at least. I intend to persist until I can see clearly, but I will not return for an annual exam next year.

The office staff is very very rude. Called to get answer and apparently they have no one there that knows any thing. I work for an eye doctor and I would be fired if I treated patients the way I was treated

My husband and I each had appointments at the Clarkston office. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Schmitz is excellent, friendly, and accommodating. This is an office that really cares about their patients, and I highly recommend them.

I went there knowing that I had a detached retina after googling my symptoms and talking to some there and them saying that it sounded like that's what it was. Now I went there thinking they could repair it for me thru surgery. Well I went and the first person that looked at my eye with the microscope thing confirmed it. So now they took me to another person who took pictures of the eye then I went to the last guy who looked at it again and confirmed it again detached retina. So now I found out they don't do surgery, so they sent me to a place that does repair this problem who did everything that Wilkinson did as far as determining the problem. The other place scheduled me for Surgery right away and repaired it. So I feel that Wilkinson took advantage of me knowing that it could be a detached retina and should have stop after the first person confirmed that and that they could do nothing for me but refer me out and then to charge me $260 for a bunch of stuff that I didn't need done there since they could repair it. I have would have no problem paying up to the first person that looked at it but beyond that I feel I was taken advantaged of. Now if they normally charge that amount for one person looking at it that is just bs!! I've had an I exam and bought glasses for cheaper than that at another optometrist place

The office staff is super nice, overboard accommodating and they are keeping the waiting room sanitized- best I’ve seen yet!Dr. Wilkinson is very thorough, really helped me get through my issues and actually listened to what I had to say (rate these days!!)I highly recommend anyone needing an ophthalmologist to make an appointment with this office!!

Such a warm, kind staff—every person I interact with there! Dr. Schmitz is very thorough and so personable. He has provided me with wonderful advice on maintaining my eye health.The staff in the eyeglass shop are extremely helpful in finding glasses that are comfortable, stylish and right for my face! They have always helped me choose glasses I love to wear!

This office has been so wonderful! I am a newer patient but have needed a few appointments already this month. About a month ago I was having some issues with my eyes and my PCP told me I needed to see the eye Dr as soon as possible. I called this office the same day I left the PCP and they got me right in, and the treatment the Dr recommended provided instant relief. They have been nothing but friendly and professional. They have been attentive and exremely accommodating. The Dr. is timely and personable. I have switched to this office for all of my eye care needs and it's been a great experience every visit. Highly recommend!

If I could give a 10 star I would... My doctor was Doctor Lee an amazing ,wonderful ,true to hearted lady that just wants u to feel better about your vision and self!!! All the way through surgery and even after she and doctor Daniel took really good care of me and I'm so happy with my producer and blessed to have gone through with it with them

Horrible experience, they were 2.5 hours behind schedule for my appointment to get a chalazion removed... once I finally saw the doctor, he didn't even remove the chalazion, just drained the blood. Did not prescribe me any antibiotic ointment, and rushed off to the next appointment. They overbook there, and the service suffers. You're better off picking up your own scalpel and carving into your own eye, this place is laughable.
