Company is a joke, charged us for limited access to a commercial location with a large parking lot and charged for a liftgate when the customer had a forklift and we stated no liftgate service in the bill of lading.The new rule for Central Transport is you will get charged a limited access fee if the company does not have a loading dock.

TL:DR version. The moral of the story is you get what you pay for. Avoid at all costs! You have been warned.They are very very rough with your goods and if you have to file a claim expect the run around, excuses, and disorganization.I shipped 2 pallets from Detroit to Miami that had the forklift forks driven right through the bottom damaging a lot of new goods. The driver noted the damage on the BOL, documented the damage, and took photos with his company provided device.For over 5 months now Central has given me excuses: the driver didn't note the damage, the claim wasn't filed in time, there's no documentation. Now after being threatened with small claims court they send out a measly $1.60 to the WRONG ADDRESS!!! Save yourself the headache and use a professional LTL carrier.

Today the central transportation sent a heavy package over 2000lbs with one guy,he couldn’t move the package even with the aid of the lift pallet. He dismissed the package off on the street in front of my driveway.
