“Maryanna...this young woman is so cool! She brings energy and vitality to everyone around her. She made me feel like a person...which is not a given. Sometimes when I'm in platos women look at me like I'm out of place. This young lady is gonna be a huge success, and makes platos a better place!”
“The Lowry Estate turned me onto the Ferndale Vintage Market, and it led to me going to the store which has such a gorgeous and chic collection of items. I bought 2 fabulous dresses (check the purple dress pictured below), and Corliss was so warm and friendly with an amazing eye. I'd totally recommend coming in to see her or hopefully you can catch her at Eastern Market.”
“10+STARS The owners are very nice and fun.Russ and Stephen are very knowledgeable of great fashion.REASONABLY priced high end clothing.Men and Women.I highly recommend shopping at Label Legends.”
“A hidden Jewel of a thrift store, nice clean well laid out store, good prices, free parking across the street, and you can get an awesome burger, and beer, for lunch @ the "Tap Room" bar on the corner!”

42941 W Seven Mile Rd, Northville“Today I called this consignment store by mistake. I actually wanted the clothing store in the same strip mall. The person who answered the phone to look up the number for the other store. It's nice to see someone do something just because it's the nice thing to do.”
“This is one of my favorite places - for both shopping and consigning! I've found so many nice decor pieces here over the years... all different sizes, different holidays, etc. The owner, Cheryl, does a great job displaying everything and makes great use of the space she has. If you're shopping there and see something you like, buy it - because if you wait and go back a few days later, it will probably be gone! Yes this store is only open from 11-3 Tues through Fri and 10-4 on Sat, but she is a one person owner, and does everything pretty much by herself. This store is a great place to consign - it's a 50/50 split, and you can collect your payouts anytime you want to when the store is open. Most other places have very strict rules about when you can receive your payouts and make you wait several weeks, so Cheryl is an A+++ with her easy payout policy. It's much appreciated!”
“I ordered a rain coat online that ended up returning. Member of the team spent time helped me find a smaller size at store and did a price match! Love that store”
“This is a great little vintage clothing shop! I've been here twice with my daughter to find period costumes for her and have been very successful both times. All I had to do is walk in and explain what we were looking for and Annie did almost the rest. She knows her stuff!”
“I love the quality of the women clothes, selections, and variety of both styles and colors that are appeasing to my shopping ego!I also like that they accept customers' gently used clothes and shoes to put on assignment.I benefitted several times from my consignment sales... only to use my monetary rewards to spend it all back in the store!Their jewerly selection is vast with many unique pieces to choose from. They also have a clothing designer's area. Finally, this place has been in business for years.I remember going down there from Northville Psychiatric Hospital ( defunct in 2003 and torn down 2023) in the 90' on my lunch hour to shop!Elizabeth S”

10AM - 8PM
28982 Ford Rd, Garden City“The cashier was very friendly the store still a good place to go to little outdated, but it’s becoming far and in between most of the Salvation Army‘s are gone my only complaint was certain things weren’t priced and trying to find somebody to price them was a nightmare.”
10AM - 9PM
44720 Ford Rd, Canton“In my experience, this store and its staff have always been awesome! Me and my sister have had some great finds here over the years and I'd say the majority of their clothing is pretty reasonably priced. I also like the way the store is set up and organized!”
10AM - 5:30PM
153 E Main St, Northville“I had so much fun shopping in this store. I read a lot of harsh reviews and my reaction to them is people always think their used stuff is worth so much more than it is- I hear the same complaints about every higher end thrift store. As for staff being rude… I think it’s weird to have employees be in my business while I’m trying to shop. I also did a return and they weren’t rude about anything- usually returns aren’t even accepted at second hand stores. As for being dirty and over stocked- I LOVED that there was so much to search and look through. One of the negative reviews has pictures from the basement- the items down stairs were the clearance. I think people in Northville must be too spoiled:) also, the review about the kid peeing… omg! that is beyond rude, you should be embarrassed about that and not shaming the business-that is weird.”
“I absolutely love Value World. One of my favorite thrift stores. We have found some really good stuff there. I like their stationary section. I hate paying full price for stationary.”
9AM - 9PM
33600 Plymouth Rd, Livonia“Newly remodeled interior and exterior, well lite and organized. My daughter is a thrifter. She feels the prices are a little on the high side compared to other thrift stores. Staff is friendly and restroom were clean.”
“Had a great experience at this location, and I live closer to the Ypsilanti one. Definitely will be using westland as my main store from now on! The store was very clean and the new manager Dillon was super nice and helpful.”
10AM - 8PM
26152 Ingersol Dr, Novi“This Clothes Mentor is vast in selection and has incredible finds since the move to its newest location. Prior it was very hit or miss. Now it's almost always a hit. Most prices are reasonable for curated resale and the brands they carry. Some stuff can seem high still, especially upper end brands or if something is NWT, regardless of brand. If you usually go to thrift stores, some stuff may seem pricy for used. But it's usually in better condition since they don't take in everything that comes their way. And it's 90% brand name, versus discount store stuff, though some target, tjmaxx and old navy slip through if it's a style they feel will sell. I do think they take in "name" stuff like lululemon that has more wear or older styles just because of the name. While other brands, they strictly use date codes and won't take if it doesn't look close to new. Kinda interesting. One note: if you sell to them, you likely will have a few hour wait. And be prepared to be in shock at the prices you get offered. They are up front about this saying they pay you 30% of what they will sell if for and then they sell at a large % off retail. But this is how they can stay in business. So It's a good way get rid of stuff you want gone but you won't make a huge some of your money back from selling. They know what sells and they know how to buy low to sell as they do and stay afloat so I don't blame them. Either way, I enjoy it and like stopping in to see what's new. I rarely leave empty handed. Often with a big bag full of new clothes and stuff.”
10AM - 8PM
12651 Middlebelt Rd, Livonia“Expensive, but it has lots of stuff to pick through.
Prices here are roughly double what you would pay at other thrift stores in the area, but it's still a thrift store and you will still buy a cart full of stuff.
Lots of DVD players, glassware, Christian vinyl, and gadgets.
More books than most thrift stores, and newer titles.
Most of the coffee mugs were $2.99, compared to .99 cents everywhere else.
Worth a visit.”
“The staff is super nice. We found a very specific jacket for my daughter for a school project. They gave it to us for less than the price on it. It was only $5. I donate there a lot.”
“It's a thrift store for kids. I buy my items from the thrift store and I buy my kids clothes from here. The difference is, you can sell the clothes that your kid has outgrown. They are very organized. Everything is in order by size, so you don't have to go through a bunch of clothes trying to find the size you need. Kids grow too fast to try to buy everything brand new.”
“Love this Salvation Army! I've been shopping here since 2010! Like any thrift shop, there are a lot of items that you need to look through to find a name-brand item that you like, but the are in there if you're willing to look. The store is so big that you're almost guaranteed to leave with at least one thing.”
“Yesterday was my first time in. This place did not disappoint! The instant I walked in I was hooked. You could spend hours and still not see everything. I'm over the moon impressed with their stock of the coolest stuff. Amazing vibe!!”
