I brought my RAM in to Ryan's to diagnose the engine light. After digging in, they felt it may be a bigger issue and possibly covered by my extended powertrain warranty. Potentially saving me a couple thousand dollars. They were honest with me, even when it cost them business, I'll bring my vehicles back to Ryan's when they need service.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

5x since Oct 2022 - Every time I took my car in, I had issues. Never done on time, cost always went waaay up from initial estimate, and twice it was not repaired properly and when I went to pick it up, my car didn't make it the 0.5 mile drive home. One time they acted like heros because it was a simple fix of a new battery, and they saved me "$275." The $160 battery was under warranty, and I had to swap it out with the auto parts store, this was after it took 4 days to be diagnosed. Finally gave up on them after the last $630 repair, just a few weeks ago, still didn't make it home, had to pay for a tow to another shop. The cost always seemed ridiculously high, and when I would question, he would start stammering, talk faster and never quite had the answer to my questions. But he'd magically find a way to save me $30 off my overpriced fixed!Services: General repairs & maintenance

My jeep wrangler rear brake was smoking and smelled. I contacted Ryan's via email on a weekend and to my surprise they contacted me back and told me to bring it in on Monday morning. They took the time to determine what exactly was wrong..before they worked on it. I have been to other repair shops that just kept trying different things .. costing me extra money. Matt was very helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. Once they determined the brake caliper was sticking and needed to be replaced I was contacted with a quote and was told that eventually I would have to replace the rotor and pads ... But no pressure on doing it now ... Again very much appreciated that. I told them go ahead and replace it all. Once complete they called and let me know it was ready....I told them I had to wait for my husband to get home from work...they even offered to come and pick me up and bring me to the shop . Awesome customer service we will be using Ryan's auto repair for all future work and recommending them. Thank you!Service: Brake service & repair

Not happy...you charged me too much in parts. You have now discouraged me from coming back to either location and I have been to the Plymouth Rd location a few times. I will go somewhere else now. Good mechanics...but you did not do me any justice in pricing of parts and taking over a week to do front end tie rod ends, rear brakes and alignment.

Even though I feel I got good service on my truck it was how much they marked up the parts. They charged me 1200.00 for the parts and I found out the parts only cost 375.00 at the Chevy dealership. I know marking up parts is a part of business but this much is almost stealing for that much markup. I know I morally Icould not sleep at night knowing I screwed someone over that bad.

Do not take your car here, I was charged a lot of money to leave with the same problem I drove in with. My cars service engine soon light started blinking and the car was shaking horribly. They charged me $40's for an air filter (these are about $20's at Valvoline- with that tricky installation included in the price) and $382's for a "reinforced" vacuum hose! The total bill came to over $500's. They recommended a tune up (they would check the spark plugs and coils then, not now) and some sort of flush, if I would have gotten all of this the bill would have been over $1100's.As I left their parking lot, my car started shaking uncontrollable and the service engine soon light immediately came back on and started blinking, the exact thing it was doing when I brought it in to them. I came back in and the mechanic, Scott, said, "oh that's that misfire", "it's ok to drive it like that until about April", this was such a random statement because no one said anything about April and that's three months from now people! I was also standing there wondering what exactly they fixed because that's what I brought it in for, he obviously knew what the real issue was but didn't fix it or want to tell me. I immediately called another mechanic and he told me to get it to him asap and not to drive it-the spark plugs and coils needed to be looked at immediately. Driving it like that would have destroyed my engine. In my honest opinion this was a serious attempt at a major upsell in order to get the actual problem fixed, they are running a racket and everyone who works there is in on it. Come back-pay again-and we may actually fix the problem this time, or not.

I took my 2008 Honda to have front end work done and it turned out to be a lot more then what I had expected, but I feel pretty confident that it will last me a few(5-7)more years! After getting my car back, I had a snafu that was completely unrelated to the work that was done, although I didn't know it at the time. They had me bring it in immediately (after they closed) and we could not identify any leaks anywhere- The owner said they may have to keep it for the weekend -and after only meeting him 10-15 mins earlier, offered me his brand new personal car-Who does that EVER? Well I will tell you who, the person I will be taking my cars to from now on! Thank you for the small town service!

Good trustworthy staff, and excellent customer service. Front desk guy Pete super nice and tells you how it is. The tech that worked on my car Aaron fixed all my issues and gave recommendations on what else may need to be looked into later. These are the guys to trust!

Set up an appt to fix my car that I discussed with the people at Ryan's prior to making the appt what it needed. It took them 3 days to repair. When I got the bill it was extremely high. Took another car to another repair shop for a different matter and asked them for a quote on the exact repair Ryan's did. It was hundreds of dollars cheaper than Ryan's. Ryan's ran up the price of the parts.About a week, prior to all this, I took a car we got from my sister in law to Ryan's for an oil change. Ryan's told me it needed a bunch repairs and new parts. About a month after all this,, I was talking to my sister in law, she told me she had done some of the repairs.I had used Ryan's for years, but will not go back there again.
