Specialty Pet Supplies
1449 Ann Arbor Rd, PlymouthI can't speak highly enough about this place! I've been going there for 30+ years with our first family dogs to my own dogs. Everyone is extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to get any answers you need. For years I go in, and many know me and my dog by name, and that has been huge in getting the help I need for my pups. If I could, I'd give them a 10/10 rating. Any other place is nowhere near as helpful, kind, or clean, in my opinion.

Pet Grooming
Perfect Paws Pet Salon
263 N Main St, PlymouthWe are new customers to Perfect Paws, and so happy we recently found them. I have a small teacup Yorkie, that suffers with severe anxiety after being cut by a previous groomer. I’ve been looking for weeks to find a trustworthy establishment to take my baby to. When finally someone recommended Perfect Paws. Makayla was outgoing, and immediately started working on georgie when we arrived. She took such good care of him, and gave him an incredible cut! I couldn’t be happier! Perfect Paws is now the only groomers we recommend. And we will be sure to request makayla for all of our grooming appointments in the future!

Barkers Pet Salon llc
746 N Mill St, PlymouthWe love Barkers - our dog is very skittish and shy but the staff is able to make her feel safe enough to trim her nails, even after a rather nasty experience at a petco. Every time we come in it is a quick turnaround with great prices.

Dogtopia of Plymouth
246 N Main St, PlymouthWe recently had a family emergency that required me to ask for our dog to be boarded within a couple hours notice. The staff went out of their way to assure me that wouldn’t be a problem and that our dog would be taken care of, so that I could focus on our emergent situation. The following day, I said, I was going to try to make every effort to be there before closing time to pick our dog up but I would have to call at the last hour to let them know if I was going to be able to make it in time. Once again, they told me they were giving my dog extra love and attention, and he was doing fine and to just take care of what I needed to take care of, and he would be ok. If I needed to board him another night then it would be OK.Their kind words and thoughtfulness helped me during a difficult time and I greatly appreciated it.Being able to watch my dog on the webcam having a good time put my heart at rest.Thank you for being there for us.

Veterinary Emergency Service West
40850 Ann Arbor Rd, PlymouthThank you to the staff at VESW for taking such good care of my cat in an emergency situation. My cat had an open wound and needed to be sedated to be taken care of. After a traumatic experience with sedation at a different emergency vet, VESW did a great job with my fur baby! They were very comforting, very informative, offered options in medication to what I was comfortable with giving my cat, and were very thorough in their explanation of what was going on, how to help, and how to administer the medication I was prescribed. I am so thankful for this medical staff!

Pet Sitting & Training
Trust & Obey Pawsitive Dog Training LLC
758 Wing St, PlymouthThis place absolutely rocks! Miss Judi (owner/trainer) and Miss Tessa (trainer) are very good at what they do. Took a 6 week course recently and was impressed to say the least. Miss Tessa handled 6 dogs (and owners) in each class with grace and total expertise. Miss Judi asked all the right questions and helped us evaluate and pick the right class too.Their positive reinforcement approach and behavior focus one step at a time just works. If you have a new puppie in the pack or even an old dog you can definitely teach them a new trick or two enrolling in a class. The studio is very “cute” and clean. Street parking nearby or a few spots out front. Very happy to have found this training center. Thank you ladies! 11/10

Happy Hounds Dog Day Care
673 S Main St, PlymouthIt is absolutely the best place I could ever ask for for my dog. I work in a vet clinic and have extremely high standards for where I take my dog. In the years I've been taking my dog, not once has there been any kennel cough or major sickness going through. My dog loves going there to the point that if I say their names or Happy Hounds, she goes crazy trying to get outside to my car to see her friends. 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a great doggie day care and/or boarding (which is cage free and always has someone on site 24/7).

Karl's Cabin Restaurant & Banquets in Plymouth
6005 Gotfredson Rd, PlymouthI had good experience last night at Karl’s Cabin. I showed up during the dinner rush. I was able to snag a seat at the bar. This place is always packed, so I was shocked I was able to sit down immediately. I ordered a beer, and my dinner. Jean was my bartender and he is always a pleasure to interact with. My meal did take a little bit of time to come out. There was a mix up or miscommunication with the kitchen. Not a big deal at all. I have worked in the Food and Beverage industry in the past as an Executive Chef. Mistakes happen, it’s apart of restaurants and bars. The way Karl’s handled this that I was very impressed with. As soon as my meal came out, a floor manager (I believe) apologized for the wait and told me my beer was on the house. That was very thoughtful and a great way to smooth over the small issue. I got up to use the restroom after I finished my meal… and had about a half a glass of beer left. When I came back it was topped off! I couldn’t believe it. This is true customer service. I would recommend Karl’s to anyone in the area for a good meal, fun atmosphere and family friendly restaurant. I truly appreciate the customer service of the waitstaff, bartender Jean, as well as the back of the house. Thank you again for the good service and experience.

Bode's Corn Beef House
280 N Main St, PlymouthWe (wife and I) currently live about 30 miles from Plymouth but back in the 70's I lived in Plymouth and would often frequent Bode's House of Corned Beef for their fabulous home cooked delights, especially the corned beef dinners and sandwiches.
Today I had reason to travel to Livonia so I took a roundabout route in order to hit Bode's. WOW! Memories just cannot serve justice to how incredible the food is here. Bode's is an unpretentious down home delight! The corned beef stands up against any I've ever had and that includes Manhattan deli corned beef!!
Also, the service -- and particularly the server, Cynthia -- was friendly, accommodating and a true delight.
Is there a 6th star?
