Wanted to finally purchase a vehicle from them, brought them a cashier's check, they had to send me paperwork the same day for it to be processed, and they never even bothered. I have never seen this kind of negligence in my life! Had to get the cashier's check back from them and start over the process of buying a vehicle, from GM directly this time.

The five star is only for the salesman MARK MARKS. I have had 2 dealings with LaFontaine dealerships,within the last 1.5 years, the last one in Plymouth. If it was not for Mark I WOULD NOT HAVE GONE THRU WITH THE SALE! THE sales manager had an attitude, lied to me 3 different times. I am a Chief of Police with an active career currently spanning 28 years. I deal with lies all the time in my job, I do not need them in my personal life too. I was told to bring a check down to the dealer for a said amount. I did, but then the finance manager stated I was SHORT ON MONEY ON THE CHECK. I SHOWED HER THE DEAL PAGE AND SAID I AM NOT PAYING ANYMORE. This conversation went on for 4-5 minutes with her, until I got up and said I AM DONE WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AND I HAVE HAD ENOUGH and began to leave. MARK stops me and says what's wrong? I explained, THEN THE FINANCE MANAGER APPROACHED and said I will eat the balance. She stated to me she was trying to tell me that. I stated, should that MAYBE have been said at the beginning of this conversation and not when I am walking out ? I ONLY WENT BACK IN BECAUSE OF THE SALSMAN MARK MARKS!!!!!!!! I received a nice, certified vehicle from MARK but called him latter on Monday and told him I HAD 2 CONCERNS WITH THE VEHICLE. FIRST the center console tray is missing from the vehicle I just purchased and asked about this 170 plus point check over THEY PERFORM and then stated to him, I luckily made the 2.5-hour drive home only to find out when I pulled in my garage the DEF WAS EMPTY. Well $55.00 later and just over 5 plus gallons of DEF, MARKS SAYS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHECKED WHEN THEY CHECKED THE VEHICLE OVER FOR SALE. The only person that is the HERO here is MARK MARKS, I can not say enough good about him!!!!!!THANK YOU MARK. 5 STARS TO MARK MARKS---- MINUS 5 STARS TO THE DEALERSHIP AND SOME OF ITS OTHER EMPLOYEES SO SO SAD!!!!!!! --------- Short note of our first purchase from LaFontaine of Highland. We were purchasing a XT6 Cadillac for my wife. We had an appointment time, we arrived 15 minutes early, waiting for the salesman to meet with us. Well, he finally arrives 25 minutes later. He stated he has everything done and he will get us out quick. Well after our almost 3 hour drive it was not quick!!!!!!!!!!! IN SHORT the salesman was running 3 deals at once plus ours! THAT IS NOT ONLY RUDE BUT VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. He was in and out with us constantly. We left the dealership after 4.5 HOURS LATTER. RATING ----MINUS 5 SO SAD!!!!!!! rod j.

They damaged the paint while replacing a part on the car. Vehemently denied the damage even though before & after photos proved otherwise. We purchased a few cars from Lou LaRiche, and used his collision center few times. Now we won't return.

We had the best experience leasing our new 2024 Equinox at Plymouth LaFontaine! Everyone from both our salesmen Zach & Henny, Vedran the Sales Manager to Mike in finance. Very easy smooth process! 10 out 10 experience!! We will be customers for years to come!

I bought a 2022 Camaro SS with a damaged wheel on 8/17/23 and was promised a new wheel at time of sale. On 8/22, they agreed to mail a check for repairs instead. On 8/29, they again said they'd mail a check. On 9/12, I was told it would be mailed within 2 days. On 9/14, I was told the check would be mailed the next day. On 9/25, I was told the check was "still going through the system." On 10/2, my text request for an update was ignored and I still don't have the check that I was promised nearly 6 weeks ago!

Worst website ever. Trying to research vehicles and it is pretty much impossible on their website. If I can't get basic information on their website why would I go to this dealership? Is this an indication of their customer service? Bubbles for "live chat"etc. continually fill your screen to the point where you have a hard time reading the information about the vehicle.

I wish there was a minus 5 stars for this dealership. My sales person was excellent, and in no way whatsoever does this review the reflect upon him. Unfortunately the finance department are rip offs. I was given a set price for my our lease and that was not what was the price on contract. All the finance person did was thrown the paperwork at my wife and did not explain anything. This is a tactic that finance uses when they are bumping the rate, and it's totally unethical, and actually very common. Unfortunately my wife did not relieve this was going on. It's to bad the crocks of LaFontaine bought this dealership. When it was Lou Laliche it was ethical, and would always get a straight up deal. Again, I encourage anyone that doesn't want to rip off not to go to this dealership. All these 5 star reviews are mess of naïve people that don't realize that they are being RIIPED OFF. GM needs to investigate what this dealership is doing to their customers, and it's again unethical.

I just purchased a new vehicle and Ben Budnik was more than helpful. The car that I wanted was still in transit and he provided me with frequent updates as well as answering my questions in a timely manner. After I got my new car home I realize that there were a few small marks on the ceiling (looked like from someone's hand) and I asked Ben about it. He responded very quickly even though the dealership was not open and was able to have me bring in the car the next day to have them cleaned up. Buying a new car is never a smooth process in my opinion but Ben did everything to make sure that I was confident with my purchase and getting the vehicle that I wanted. I would definitely recommend asking for Ben when going to look for your new vehicle!

The fellas, Matthew and Zach, helped me in a major jam when Ford had actually left me with my keys locked in the car after hours, after accepting payment, and me stranded 30 minutes from home. Phone dead, car in charger, these fellas got me set up and helped out. True gentleman - and needless to say I would go back there to switch up my car.

We purchased a new 2023 Tahoe from Lou LaRiche and since we drove it off the lot, there has been consistent and persistent electrical and audio issues. We have taken it back several times and each time they claim it is fixed but within the 2 mile drive home we notice it is not fixed. They do not have courtesy or demo cars for us to use so we are without our new SUV for days at a time (in the snow and ice) while they "diagnose and fix it" although it has not been fixed. It has been a very frustrating experience and we are left feeling that we either were sold a lemon or the service department is incompetent or dishonest.

They are terrible at service and diagnosis, not to mention a bunch of time wasters... they kept a vehicle that supposedly was perfectly OK for a week and returned it on empty. I feel taken advantage of. They cost me $500 for a rental for something that should have been done immediately before keeping a vehicle for a week. The girl in their service department is incompetent and is a time and money waster. Get a job in your own wheelhouse sweaty; repeating the incompetence of your staff is not your job! You should actually know when they are full of shi# and make sure you never keep a vehicle thats got "nothing" wrong with it for a week, you're gonna be hearing from GM and my lawyer...
