I was looking to start strength training and found the perfect gym in Hale Strength and Shape. The owners / instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming. They’ve created a community of strong and encouraging women (who look amazing too)!After the first class, I was sold…6 years and going strong!! Scratch that….6 years and growing stronger!! :)

Love this gym. After many years of not working out I googled “gyms near me” and stumbled upon this gem. Everyone is helpful, encouraging and makes you feel right at home.

Very nice location. Clean and well-maintained. It's a smaller space, but they make good use of it and are well-equipped whether you enjoy cardio or lifting

I was never one to exercise regularly and was starting to have difficulty with different things as I aged. I was always hesitant about going to a big gym because I didn’t really know what to do, how to use the machines and just felt intimidated. After listening to my daughters talk about this gym, I thought I’d try it out. Even though I had much self doubt, I committed myself to working on this for 3 months no matter what. I quickly learned that in this gym, there was no negativity - only words of encouragement. This encouragement came from Kurt and all ladies that are there, no matter what their ability level was. I quickly learned that I could do a lot more than I ever imagined and that I like doing it! Thank you to Kurt and Courtney for having such a vision and creating this wonderful atmosphere!

I have tried several gyms and different trainers and this is by far the best I have found. In the strength classes it is like having a personal trainer without paying the price for one. The small group classes insures you are doing the exercises correctly. I have seen great results from this gym. Everyone that works out here is fabulous as well.
