This pharmacy miscounted my medication, and shorted me 10 tablets of my seizure meds. I paid $130 for this medication, and I didn’t even receive the correct amount. When I called to let them know, they were unapologetic and kept suggesting that I was mistaken. On top of that, they never save my insurance information and new address, so every time I have to pick up meds for myself or my children, it turns into an ordeal of having to wait for them to update it. Every time. It’s very frustrating. When I went to pick up the remaining meds, my address was wrong yet again, and my new address was saved under the wrong name.

This place is awfully slow. In the drive through it doesn’t matter if i’m the only car or have 3 in front of me i’m always sitting in line for at least a half hour.

I've never had this much trouble with a pharmacy in my life!! It's ridiculous! I normally use Rite Aid in Allegan for my prescription, but I was given word in mid-January that my particular med they couldn't get for the next month and a half or so bc the distribution place they used was out of my med, so I had to find a different pharmacy for a short time. The drs office told me to call around to pharmacies to see which one used a different distributor and let them know and they'd send over my scripts (bc my insurance requires me to fill it every 2wks bc they won't pay for a full month at a time bc it's a controlled substance). I called Walgreens and spoke w the pharmacist and was told they can absolutely get it no problem and to go ahead and have the Dr send it over. The Dr did on a Tuesday and I was due to fill my script the following Monday (so they had almost a week)!!! Monday comes and I call to see if it's ready and ooops we forgot to order it and so we can't get it till Wednesday (2 days late)! And for people on controlled substances your Dr only gives you enough to get you thru till the night bf your script is due to refill, so you don't have anymore until you get your refill.......so their screw up left me in excruciating pain for 3 days. Then Wednesday comes and I call again to see if it's ready like they said it would be, and once again, nope we don't have it bc we had to wait till Walgreens corporate signed off so they could order it and it'll be yet another day onto Thursday w no regard for what I was going through! And finally Thursday night I got it, bit was weary of the next one to be filled in a week and halves time! So it gets closer to my next fill and an entire week before my script was due to be filled I called to remind them of the other issues and wanted to make sure it didn't happen again, and was told that they were going to order them that day so it would be ready the following Tuesday, great!! Today is Tuesday and I called to make sure it was ready and guess what???? It's not ready and they don't even have the med yet! They said they put in the order last Thursday and sent the order of to corporate for their approval and apparently corporate hasn't bothered to answer one way or another so the order couldn't proceed to get it in stock!!! Did anyone bother to call me and communicate any of this or think about the effects it would have on me, absolutely not!?! No one says anything to me, just like 2 wks ago unless I call. This is absolutely ridiculous that this keeps happening! There communication sucks! Their chain of command and that they have to send to corporate sucks! Corporate not giving responses even though they know no one can move forward without it and their disregard for clients/patients SUCKS! The fact that they know more than a week ahead of time about the script and still can't get their stuff together in time sucks! The fact that the pharmacist doesn't pay attention to orders and what's happening for the scripts their filling unless they get a million calls from the client sucks! The fact they randomly forget to bother ordering it, sucks, bc we depend on them to handle it! The fact that when this happens they have no practice in place and the pharmacist doesn't even know who or where to call to fix it, SUCKS! THEY'RE MESSING W PEOPLES LIVES AND HEALTH! WHAT IF I WAS DIABETIC AND COULD DIE WITHOUT IT, WOULD I MATTER THEN?!? OR IS IT JUST THAT IM A PAIN PATIENT AND THE SCRIPT IS FROM A PAIN CLINIC THAT IT GETS SHOVED ON THE BACK BURNER BC WE DONT MATTER?? AFTER ALL, EVERYONE THAT TAKES A PAIN MED OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES MUST JUST BE A DRUG SEEKER OR ADDICT, RIGHT? I MEAN, THATS HOW WE'RE VIEWED, RIGHT? SO WHATS IT MATTER THAT ITS MULTIPLE DAYS LATE THAT WE GET OUR MEDS! AND IT CANT BE THAT WE ARE DIAGNOSED W AN INSANELY PAINFUL ILLNESS AND ARE GRASPING AT STRAWS TO SURVIVE AND TRY TO FUNCTION EVEN A LITTLE BIT TO BE A MOTHER AND CARE FOR OUR KIDS OR ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO

Got the automated call that my script is ready and being that I’m sick and in pain, I got out of bed and went right to the pharmacy to get my script. Wouldn’t you know, they’re closed! Apparently only ONE person works in the pharmacy and has taken their lunch. Are you kidding me?? Their hours would certainly be appreciated in their automated call letting me know my script is ready.

Very good inventory. They have what I am looking for 95% of the time. Associates are the Best. What more could I ask for.

They keep me alive but they're not the best people to have yo ur life in their hands. For example,I have diabetes and I received only a small portion of a prescription. When I went to get the remaining amount of medicine, they claimed, I had already received said prescription. Now I understand that people abuse narcotics and some other prescriptions, but this keeps me alive and is never abused by me. I'm just glad to be alive. Well, they didn't believe me. They refused to give me my medication until they reviewed the camera footage. Yeah I had to wait hours because they didn't trust me with my insulin. So the y could be sure I hadn't received my insulin previously. Ya know, most people are just honest ande with the lack of abuse in insulin, you shouldn't have jumped to that conclusion . I've been a great patient. Why risk losing me due to a paranoid distrust. Who abuses insulin. Don't get ya high,Walgreens. Think about it. I die if I abuse that stuff. Sadly these type things happen frequently here in Plainwell. I wontg lie. My reviews are a reflection of actual events and not just a personal vendetta. Fair is fair. Spoils to the victor.
