Every time I have visited this store, Bobbie and Cam have been incredibly helpful and so welcoming. I have been very impressed with the wide variety of fabrics, threads, and notions that they carry. They are both very knowledgeable with the craft and have cultivated a delightful community of stitchers that are just truly wonderful.

Placed an order in January and never heard anything. I have since gone elsewhere. It's a shame that service is so poor as there are so few shops left.

Worst company ever, do not buy from her. It took 3 months to get my order and it was laced with lie after lie after lie. UPDATE: How ironic that she was quick to respond to my review, but then she responded to my emails before, just never the truth. I bought from her for years but she finally killed the goose that laid the golden egg.

This is the absolute worst company to do business with. It took more than 3 months to get my order and it was laced with lie after lie after lie along the way. I know because she would say the designer didn't have the chart in stock so I would email the designer and not only was the chart in stock but this business hadn't placed an order at all.... so who was she ordering from? Then she had to go to the emergency room... 3 nights in a row... yeah, right. Then she couldn't get to her shop because of the snow. Her shop is literally a few blocks from her home. I pulled up the weather report in her city. No snow in the forecast and there hadn't been any snow in the past few weeks. Buyer Beware!

I've been using Stitching Bits and Bobs since about 2005.Ive never placed an order online, but calledthem over the phone to place my orders.If anything was on back order, they would call me to let me know and if I wanted to wait on the back order then have everything shipped to me.Or ship what they had then let me know when my back order came in.They were very nice and cordial to me.Ive been very happy doing business with them.This is the only company I've ordered from and will continue to do so.

Poor customer service. Does not respond to emails. I ordered floss and linen around 4/2021 and never received products. Website says waiting for fabric. They shouldn't sell stuff if it is not in stock. Will not purchase anything from them again.

Placed online order on April 21. Called them on the 28th for an update and was told that 2 of the 5 items ordered were available and 3 had to be ordered. Told it would probably be another 2 or 3 weeks since supply lines everywhere have been delayed. I totally get that. What I don’t get is why, when I placed the order, was I not notified that only 2 of the 5 items were in the store and 3 had to be ordered? This would have given me the option to decide whether I wanted to continue and wait, or cancel the order. The 2 or 3 weeks are long over. Since the 28th of April, I have made 4 additional phone calls, only to reach a machine that tells me to leave my detailed information and my call will be returned the following business day. I have received no return calls nor any emails telling me my order has shipped. I don’t know why these people won’t communicate but this morning I left a message ( again) and told her to cancel the order since they refuse to communicate with me. If they have no intention of filling your order, or providing updates, or returning phone calls, then they need to change the phone message to “sorry, we don’t care why you’re calling so don’t bother to leave any information.” Why have a message if they intend to ignore your call? I understand the issues with supplies everywhere being short, and shipping times being slower. Their website even states this, that there may be long delays, etc. I get it. That is not the issue. The issue is that no one has the courtesy to send me an email or return a phone call and simply give me the status of an order placed over a month ago. The 2-3 week delay in obtaining the 3 items that had to be ordered has long passed. I asked in one call would she please let me know which 2 she had, and maybe I would have just taken those 2 and cancelled the others. But as usual, I got no response. I have read numerous negative reviews from people with similar issues, and I have also read glowing 5- star reviews. Why do we have such different experiences? Luckily my credit card hasn’t been charged yet, but I can’t even let these people know to cancel the order completely because they refuse to communicate. Next step, write a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. There are plenty there already.

They were quick to take my payment for in-stock items, but a month later my order status says "in process". I have emailed and called them with no reply. How do you stay in business for 17 years??

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE: Same issue. Ordered online. Received a run around. After three weeks, order not shipped and communication stopped. The Michigan DA should seriously investigate this business for online fraud simply for the amount of times people have been scammed out of their money... and that is just from reading these reviews here! There are more elsewhere. Shameful.

Made it into the shop today (appointment only and mask required) and it was LOVE! They have a great selection and the owner was very nice and informative. I have seen some not so great reviews about their online service and that’s unfortunate because as a brick and mortar, I thought it was fantastic. It is just the two owners, so maybe that contributes to slower online experiences.I am so glad to have a great needlework shop in my area and I look forward to shopping there again!

BUYER BEWARE. Ordered charts and linen one year ago in May, 2018. Account charged right away. Long story short 1 year later, no product, no refund and no communication after several attempts on my part. When I submitted a complaint to the better business bureau, they were told the store has a company policy of no refund. So apparently they find it okay to keep to just keep your money.

I would never do business with this shop again. I ordered some patterns over a month ago and still do not have them! I have left phone messages and emails with no response. Very poor way to run a business!!!
