I am putting window coverings in my entire house and Rose in Window Treatments has been fantastic. She has helped me every step of the way. She is so patient with changes I have made. She explains everything about the products snd if she does not know a fine detail, she looks it up. Friendly and helpful. Thanks Rose.

Blue carts!! Construction blue carts!! Flat top blue carts!! Couldn't find any construction carts for purchasing drywall, tile, plywood. Over $1,000 in construction items. All of the carts are being used by Lowes. They're full of returns that need to be put back. Employees standing around, asking us every 5 minutes or less if we need help...even after seeing another employee ask the same thing. Buying T111 sheeting & getting charged for a higher wrong item because can't find it in their little book. Female employee screaming across store because someone took her blue flat top construction cart. Do better please

If I could leave zero stars I would. PSA- DO NOT deal with Lowe's Home Improvement in Petoskey Michigan. Their third-party delivery refuses to deliver our appliances, sending a picture of our front door and lying about having contacted us ahead of time per Lowe's own protocol. Talk about fraud! Never again with these people. I hope I don't need to contact a sheriff about stolen property since right now no one can tell me where our appliances are. The manager, 'Tracy' basically told me to deal with it since 'you have free delivery'. 1.) nothing has been delivered so I don't have delivery and 2.) we've lost work time trying to anticipate (guess) when the items might arrive since their third-party delivery ("Claudia") says they have their own rules and don't have to follow Lowe's.

I am very disappointed in Lowe's. This is a national company, with horrible organizational skills. This is ridiculous. No one knows what is going on. I was supposed to have received a call last Friday to let me know what time my refrigerator would be arriving on Saturday. No one called. 8:00 pm, I called the store to find out. The person ( maybe a manager) said to me, it looks like you are scheduled between 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. When I work up Saturday morning, I get a tracking text that said deliver between 8:45 pm to 12:45 am. I am like what? So I called the store again to inquiry about this delivery. And the lady on the phone said, no. Your delivery time is between 8:00 pm to 12:00 am midnight. Again, no one knows what is going on. And furthermore, I ordered a screen door that was supposed to have been installed last Thursday and that fell through. Very disappointed in Lowe's in general. I will be seeking out local stores with caring people who want to help. I am truly sadden by this and as long as. I am help it, Lowes has lost my business.

ordered a ladder in the store on June 7 said it would be there June 30 now August 2 still haven't got the ladder done to the store five times different story every time the latest story was it was shipped from the manufacture on 22 July call yesterday August 1 was told it's not there yet and that's the problem when you order stuff online and no control of when it's going to come so I just ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot no more Lowe's

Second "update." Our repair date keeps getting rescheduled, for a fridge repair on a fridge that has two warranties on it! Each time it's another month. So basically, all the warmest weather- May into August, and all the warm weather holidays- no fridge/ freezer. On a 20 month old LG that came with "manufacturer's defects." Buyer beware! Of LG, Lowes, anything they say, and protection plans, etc. we have sworn off.

Cottage refrigerator crashed. Needed a replacement fast. Ordered one online, everything was set. Popped into the store to see what I had just ordered. Allison (Allie) offered to help and in the process she discovered the system goofed up the delivery date. She fixed it, referred it over to Randy and together they got us scheduled for EARLIER than we expected. When was the last time that happened!!! Randy even called back to confirm. Thanks both for the great service!!!

I ordered a riding lawnmower online for my son. It said ready for delivery so I called the Petoskey Michigan store to schedule the delivery. He kept telling me I had the wrong order number, I was looking directly at my account and that was the number listed. After arguing for about 10 minutes he found it. Scheduled my delivery for June 1st. After a few days I noticed it said June 12th so I once again called the store. The delivery person gave me a hard time about order number then said it was being delivered on the 12th, once again after 10 minutes of arguing I demanded to speak with a manager. The manager told me they only delivery to my area on Wednesday so it couldn't be the first, but he would deliver on the 3rd. That's ok. (Lol the 12th wasn't a Wednesday either). So delivery day comes they stop at the end of the driveway, push the mower off, leave it there for my son to push down the drive to garage. No explaining how it works or any questions, just left. The mower wouldn't start, when we called we were told just jump it, we deliver it with a dead battery. Are you kidding me. I bought one last year from the Gaylord store for my other son, they drove it up to his garage explain how everything worked and answered any questions. I would recommend the Gaylord store excellent customer service. STAY AWAY FROM PETOSKEY STORE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I bought/signed a contract with Lowe's in Petosky to have a Generac installed at our residence. That was March 15th. Well over 3 months later still no Generac. I have called so many times to Lowe's/ contractor(s) they allegedly set up to perform the job/managers/etc I lost count. I gave Lowe's over $7,000 to do this job over 14 weeks ago!!! I would never recommend them for anything. I have heard so many excuses it's getting funny. I guess a signed contract and they have my money is no concern to them.

I recently purchased a clearanced fridge at the Lowes in Petoskey. Let me tell you when I first looked at this fridge on the floor, there was barely anything wrong with it. However, at the time I was unable to get any help. The employees kept making themselves appear to be on the phone, there was only one poor fellow doing any kind of work in the department staffed that night with 3 employees, so I had to call them the next day to purchase my fridge. The employee we talked to on the phone was very helpful and polite. However, yes it gets worse, fast forward 2 days when the delivery guys came with my fridge. These guys were courteous and polite and extremely careful. Yet, sometime before the fridge actually left the store, ALL the glass shelves were busted! the door dented, the inside of the fridge scratched to all high heaven! I know this happened before it left the store bc, the majority of the glass was cleaned out of the fridge! So long story short, while the manager was nice enough to replace the shelves, my husband still had to make the 60 mile drive to Lowes to go get what they destroyed, and I am stuck living with dents in my fridge because of a dishonest employee somewhere at the store.

This review was actually written by my mother. She and my dad are so beyond disappointed in the customer service they've received TWICE now. They are well known in this area, and believe me, we (their family and friends) will be spreading the word about this horrendous experience. Here are her words: This is something I don't usually do, but I am so frustrated, I have to vent. Last year, we decided to put a new counter top in the kitchen. I went to Lowe's and ordered a nice quartz one. They called when it was ready so we removed the old one, and the sink. Then when they came, it had been cut wrong, so they couldn't put it in. Of course the kitchen was wrecked by then, but we were patient and eventually got it put in, and it's beautiful. Well, this year we wanted to get new carpet for two bedrooms and our living room. Again, I went to Lowe's and picked it out and ordered it. They called when it was ready and set two weeks ago as the install date. So we removed everything we could from those rooms, even took the drawers out of the dressers to make it easier for them to move them. Everything ended up in our dining room and living room. They came, and started working in the bedrooms. They pulled up the old carpet, and put the pad down. Then when they brought the carpet in, they discovered it was flawed (holes in it) so it would have to be reordered So we were left sleeping on a mattress on the floor until they could get it. The next morning I went to Lowe's and talked to a lady in the office about it. She said there was no way to hurry it up, and it takes a week to ten days to get the carpet. When I asked then how long after they got it would it be for them to finish installing.. She assured me we would be immediately moved to the top of the list. Well, last Thursday, I called the store and spoke to Rachel, the salesgirl we had been working with. She said the carpet had come in the day before so they notified the installers and they would be calling me. Late the next day, we still hadn't heard anything so I called again. I was informed that Rachel wasn't there but she would be in in the morning and she would call me. That call never came. So yesterday I called again and asked to speak to the manager. When I told him what was going on and that we were living in a shambles waiting for out carpet, he gave me the number of their new customer relations people. I spoke with them, and they agreed, we should be getting it done. So they were going to get a hold of the installers. Later yesterday, a lady called and said she wanted to set up a date for the installation. Would the 16th work.? Needless to say, I lost it. I told her that was not acceptable that we should not have to wait another two weeks with our house in pieces. She then(not too happily) said she would see what she could do and call me back. She didn't. So I called again and asked for the manager. This time it was a different guy, so I had to tell the whole story again. He said he would try to reach her and would call me back. He finally did and said he couldn't get her, but he would keep trying and would call first thing this ,morning. He didn't. So about noon, I called again. Got a different guy, and he said he would try to find something out for me and call back. He didn't . Later the guy from the night before finally called, and said he was still trying to reach the installers and get back to me. I'm still waiting. And still living in a mess..I have learned one thing for sure through this-- I will never go to Lowe's for anything again. Sorry this is so long, but even if no one finishes reading it, at least I got it off my chest This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and they will not have a chance to do it again. I've learned my lesson..

I had a problem with my carpet which I purchased from Lowes. After 6 phone calls from me over a 2 week period I received no help. The installation coordination is very unprofessional as well. I had my kitchen countertop in my living area for 2 days because the installation department did not coordinate it. When I called them they said, "It is not our problem." After 3 other delivery problems I will not be going back to Lowes in the near future. If I were the manager I would be very embarrassed.

Very poor customer service. I visited this store on a Saturday morning. The place was empty. That should have been a clue. I came in looking for Valspar Lacquer in a spray can. I asked the two guys at the paint counter where I could find this product. It was like pulling teeth to get the info because it seemed they were more interested in their own personal conversation they were having. I grabbed two cans and mistakenly got one clear and one white. The white was in the wrong spot however I should have noticed before I went through the self check out. Thankfully I caught the error before I left the store. After conversing about it with the woman stationed at self check out I was told that station 14 would be able to help me. I walked over and waited only a minute or two. The woman at register 14 was busy however the woman at service counter connected this register was not assisting anyone. She asked what I needed. I explained that I made a mistake and needed to exchanged the item. I was rudely told I needed to go out and around to the return area. I explained that the woman over at self check out directed me here. After an argument and a stair down I told her I"M SERIOUS! Im not walking around. She was then miraculously able to help me. She should be fired...
