Stopped in an hour and a half before closing to open a new account, as we are new in town. We were told that we could not be seen until the next day because the gentleman who sets up accounts was getting ready to leave in 10 minutes. EXTREMELY unprofessional and pretty pathetic that only one person can set up new accounts!! We will be taking our business to another bank with better customer service.

I went to this branch to make a payment on my credit card with cash like I always do and had unfortunate displeasure of being helped by Chandra Whiting, vice president/branch manager/teller. After I handed her my card and cash she instantly informed me that she won't help me without picture ID which was first time anyone asked me for ID while making a payment. She was rude and condescending and inform me of chases new (2 year old) policy of having to identify people who pay with cash (why? She doesn't know), to which I responded with inquiries to prove the policy in writing which she could not provide. This is first time I've heard of such rule after making many many payments at this location before and no one has asked me for ID. I went to a different location where the teller without asking questions took my money and put it in my account and thanked me for my business (which is how it normally goes). The moral of the story is Chandra needs to put customer care ahead of rediculous non existent policy. How does this person with remarkably poor customer care/service skills in charge of the whole branch? Is this the kind of person you want to represent your Chase bank? I hope you see this review Chandra and I hope your DM sees it as well. You are the worst experience I've had at this bank!
