“I was backing up my car at my house and a tree came out of nowhere and hit me! Craziest thing! Thankfully the tree was a maple so I sold it(that’ll teach it) to pay for the damages it caused. Tri rivers hooked me up with a new lift gate and when I arrived to pick up my car it was detailed in and out along with the new lift gate! “They were helpful to a certain limit. Unsure that they gave us the best type of advice.The price felt a little on the higher end, but we may be skewed.We got a battery, it was rather urgent and last minute. We arrived in the middle of a Sunday afternoon. It was the only option in 50/70 miles of our original location.I tried to call ahead to confirmed they had the needed replacement. No dice. So we took a risk and drove on a gamble. (We did let the car run in the parking lot until they confirmed they had the battery. However they sold us the wrong type, we only realized when coming closer, they did had something compatible but of course at a premium price. What ever it was that or nothing!).We did not discuss, we paid, it seems that it was supposed to come with a free installation.The guy who was so busy when we came (he was taking his lunch), confirmed he could help with the installation ... He brought me a cart with all the tools and the battery.Maybe I should have insisted or something. He returned to his lunch while I did the swap in the parking lot under the heat.I don't mind, I know how to change a battery, I probably did it faster anyway.It is just a very puzzling way to do business. Honestly it gave us a good laugh and added to our vacation up north another adventure.However, this is that overall sort of gray area about everything that pushes that review to a 4 stars rather than a 5.”
