Such a wonderful environment. My little family had come in today for the cutest ever egg hunt,adults included ;) the effort,vibe and conversation was just phenomenal. Didn’t push sales on me at all,instead was very informative,helpful and left me leaving ready to come back for all my wants and needs !

The manager Gina is by far the worse manager I’ve ever spoke to. She should not be working customer service. Never been so disrespected in my life. She disrespected me my home and also threatened me. I would not recommend this location go anywhere else.

I started all of my contracts in Traverse city michigan. I have gotten the run around from day 1 from this company. I was supposed to have a brand new sectional and a brand new fire place TV stand. That was in Sept of 2022. It's August of 23 now and still have old , used dirty furniture and a broken TV stand . Which yes we agreed to " borrow " those items until ours came in which never happened. Haven't had any better experience with the Petoskey store either. It's a constant run around. They were supposed to pick my TV stand up and deliver a PS5 I ended up driving clear to Petoskey to pick it up myself. I'm considering returning everything I've contracted through them and going somewhere else. DONT RECOMMEND.

Couple things. The rude lady that works there came to my house when I didn't owe a payment for another month. Then she saved a card on file without my permission and they charged the card without my knowledge, I specifically said don't save this card, not once but 2 times in the same day when I don't even owe a payment. Shady. The lady that works there Gina I think her name is is absolutely crazy! Talks bad about customers in front of people and is just rude for no reason.

I see a lot of bad reviews, but to be totally honest they have been nothing but professional and nice to me. I even had to call today because I was going to be late on my payment because of the stupid holiday bank closures. And she was totally fine with it. Id recommend them....

If I could give no stars I would. The store in Petoskey, MI. They are rude to other employees. Not that nice to customers. They will charge you for something you no longer have and took back. They swear in front of customers really bad. I wouldn't recommend this company or store. Waste of money and time. If you want to do a rent to own, I would go to Continental.

I don't recommend this company or at least this store. They are not that nice, they don't know what customers service is. they swear really bad in front of customers and they will charge you for an item you took back and not take it out of the system. I will be calling and getting my money back. worst rent to own company I have ever been to. So disappointed and very upset. ?

Poor quality in management. Current manager treats staff like whipped dogs, yells at them in front of customers to ensure people know she is the manager. Unfortunately the employee she treated horribly was by far an outstanding employee and good young man. I have been with the rent to own place since it was continental rental in the 90s over 20 years and I have never met anyone in management with such disrespect as the one in the Petoskey office. After 20 years of service I will never go to Arona's home essentials again, I will drive 45 minutes away to go to Gaylord. The rest of the staff, wonderful!I want to give a huge shout out to Chad. He handled my case beautifully, he is very personable, down to earth and ensures customers come first no matter what the issue is. Chad speaks with respect and should definitely be thanked for going above and beyond the call of duty for anything he does for his customers. I was very upset earlier when I posted this review because as a manager for the last 15 years it is upsetting when you hear a good employee get thrown under the bus. If this store ever loses Chad or the other drivers they will definitely lose more business and beyond. I will also encourage my daughter who has bought more from Aronas' & rent a center over the last two years than you can imagine, to search other rental stores when her purchases are complete at Arona's. I wish Alan was back.
