We loved our stay here!
We chose Hexagon House for a rare getaway without our kids. We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast and wanted to give it a try.
Everything about this place is so thoughtful. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning. Our room had everything we needed, and more! We especially appreciated the complimentary goodies they left out for guests – there were always little baked goods and a small beverage fridge with cold drinks. We are OBSESSED with their cupcakes. And we appreciated the champagne they gave us to celebrate our anniversary.
My favorite part was the wraparound porch. It was nice to sit and read, and cozy up with a blanket.
It's also in a great location. It's only a 15-20 minute walk to downtown Pentwater, and we took advantage of that on several occasions because we really liked walking through the beautiful neighborhoods surrounding downtown. We also checked out Silver Lake Sand Dunes and a few points of interest in Ludington during this trip, and both of those things were only about a 20 minute drive away.
We fell in love with both Pentwater and Hexagon House, and we'll definitely be back. Thanks, Brendan and Michelle, for a wonderful stay!

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful our stay was at The Hexagon House. The innkeepers were fantastic — thoughtful, funny, accommodating, overall just lovely people. The rooms were cozy, beautifully updated and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. They honestly thought of everything! On top of all that, the breakfast was delicious! It is going to be hard for another B&B to surpass the bar that The Hexagon House has set. We stayed at 5 different B&Bs on our Michigan road trip and hands down The Hexagon House was our favorite. We all had wished we could stay another couple of nights. But that just means we will be back! Thank you, Brendan and Michelle!

What a delightful B&B … The Hexagon House has a warm and quaint atmosphere, beautifully furnished rooms, really great food & service too. The owners are warm and friendly and a pleasure to be with.We also really liked the town of Pentwater, its shops and scenic beauty. The combination of the town and the B&B are what books are made of.

Brendan & Michelle are absolutely delightful hosts at this quaint & elegant B&B. We were greeted by Bren in the drive as we came onto the property & very quickly realized we had made a superlative choice for our Pentwater stay. Michelle is an absolute Michelin breakfast chef. You will not be disappointed.

I'm a little afraid to give this review as I want this place all to myself (and of course with my wife). This is an awesome Bed & Breakfast. The accommodations are beautiful - both inside and out. The breakfast is wonderful. It beats all the B&Bs we have stayed with and that says a lot since we have been to so many. But, above all the hosts are so great! They are warm and welcoming. Their attention to every detail goes beyond expectation.Rooms: The room is cozy and welcoming with access to a balcony that is semi-private.

Better than advertised! The hosts are wonderful and welcoming. The house and its grounds are immaculate and absolutely gorgeous. The wrap around porch (on both floors) is just perfect for chilling. We would recommend the Hexagon to anyone visiting the Pentwater area.

What a beautiful little B&B! The room is so cozy, the balcony is amazing and the breakfast is the best of all! Michelle and her girls made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. Don't plan on eating lunch in Pentwater though because you won't be able to fit it in! But do be sure to ask Brendan or Michelle for the best eateries around. We tried several of their recommendations and they were all fantastic.

We had a wonderful anniversary trip to the Hexagon House! I'm so glad we chose this bed and breakfast. The room (the Russell room) was very clean and inviting. We loved that we had our own little seating area on the porch. We used it to play an escape room board game together at night and to read a bit in the morning. Breakfast was delicious. Michelle accommodated my dairy-free diet. Brendan and Michelle were both lovely and helpful hosts and made great suggestions. Brendan suggested we could walk into town (Pentwater), and that was one of our favorite things to do! We did that twice. House of Flavors was a great place for ice cream! We also highly recommend checking out the Silver Lake area, and our favorite meal was at Farmhouse Kitchen and Market in Shelby. It's a bit of a drive, but was well worth it to us! We absolutely loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat!

Michelle and Brendan are the most wonderful hosts! Hexagon House is charming, cozy, well-located, and delightful overall! Brendan was very flexible with our late check-in, and Michelle prepared the most delicious breakfasts during our stay! Plus, there were always little baked goods provided throughout the day. Coffee and tea available all day, and they were knowledgeable about local dining and activities. Rooms were very clean, good temperature, and comfortable. The outside deck is amazing too.Michelle and Brendan were lovely to chat with as well, we'll be back soon!

This was our 3rd stay in this beautiful B&B and just when we thought it couldn't get any better...it did! Brenden and Michelle are such a delight and make you feel like the long awaited for family member coming home. The charm of Pentwater is such a lovely compliment to the peaceful and welcoming experience you get during your stay. This year we stayed in the Carriage House and it was just as lovely as the big house. We brought friends with us for this getaway, and even with special diet restrictions, Michelle made their breakfast just as beautiful as ours . The attention to small details, as well as personal recommendations of things to do around the area, and personal conversation make this lovely place even more so. I don't know what it was like "pre" Brenden and Michelle, but in my book, they are truly what make this B&B the PERFECT little getaway spot that it is. I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful experience and look forward to our next visit.

We hadn't stayed here since pre-pandemic, or since it changed ownership, but finally had the opportunity to do so this past week. And Michelle and Brenden (the new owners/hosts) were ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL. My family and I stayed in the "Carriage House" - and everything was just first-rate. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable; shower was GREAT; and the entire space was pristine. And QUIET!! SO wonderful and relaxing. Michelle was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Two examples: (1) our first morning there, one of my family members overslept, and missed breakfast. Instead of doing what 99.9% of BnB owners would do, and simply write him off (ala, "you snooze you lose"), Michelle made him up a special tray with an entire breakfast - complete with china - and gave it to me to take to him. Who DOES that!? (2) one of our family members has a nut allergy, and Michelle meticulously prepared separate servings for him - and then the SECOND day, we arrived at our table to find that she had made sure to not have any granola on his fruit/yogurt cup, just to be safe. SO thoughtful and meticulous! Speaking of breakfasts, they were DELICIOUS (the southwestern frittata was a special standout)- and especially the TEA that Michelle made for my wife (which apparently was incredible). Special baked treats were left in the lobby in the evenings for snacks - I helped myself to fabulous carrot cake bites. Oh, side note: the STAFF was equally friendly and kind - SO warm and welcoming! All in all, just an A+++ experience all the way around; so much so that while checking out this morning, we inquired about staying for a week NEXT summer.
