Huge variety of food, was easy to order, and was done within about 20 mins (we ordered pizzas, might be quicker with just sandwiches). Our group of 6 all really enjoyed what we got and we all said we would get it again (took it to eat on the beach- but they also have 2 tables outside if you wanted to eat there). Knuckle sandwich was a particular hit in our group, as well as all the dipping sauces that came on the side.

Ordered the special tonight…pizza sub with 3 different meats and veggies AND the Greek salad. Husband said the sub was tasty but would have been better if the bread was toasted. The salad (large) was definitely big and full of toppings! I just need to remember to ask for the hummus & tzatziki sauce separately, especially since there is no way I can eat it all in one sitting!Overall a good meal…but again, please toast the buns!!

There were 6 of us who all ordered different things- and EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! Highly recommend! And their Pita bread that comes as a side is delicious! Loved their dips- hummus, onion and ranch! I had the Greek Veggie and it was soooo good!

We ordered the Clutch, the Knuckle, and the veggie Greek. All we're pretty good but nothing special to us on that day. We've read many great reviews, but of all the specialty sandwiches we've had in our lives, these seemed pretty average. Friendly man taking the orders. Limited seating.

Don't let the "food shop" moniker fool you: Clutch is flat-out THE best food place in Pentwater. Backstory: my family and I have been vacationing every summer in Pentwater for the last 15 years, and pretty much the only "challenge" we've faced during that time is finding consistently good food. The Brown Bear in town has GREAT burgers and fries, but you can't (or at least, WE can't) eat that heavy every night. And the Gull's Landing, while solid, is WILDLY over-priced. But other than those places, you've basically got marginal pizza and lots of ice cream/candy. Until Clutch came along. Simply put, it's SO GOOD. We've eaten there twice this past week, and both times have been EXCEPTIONAL. The "Apples & Greens" salad is to die for, as is "Mary's Onion Bread" (OMG, the latter is fantastic). My wife got their "The Greek" gyro, and even though I loathe lamb, it was DELICIOUS. I've ordered their pita Mexican pizza TWICE, because it was so incredible. And their service is GREAT: the counter person even made a point of organizing the takeout bag so that the hot stuff was on the bottom and the salad on top, so "it wouldn't wilt." Who THINKS of such things!? So yeah, for all you Pentwater visitors and residents, hit up Clutch - you won't be disappointed! Oh, and the "atmosphere" rating is simply because it's more a takeout place than an eat-in place.

My husband really enjoyed his Knuckle Sandwich and I enjoyed the ability to select gluten-free/dairy-free substitutions! I have not found another place in town that does this. Thank you.

The food is great. Pizza is better than Hart Pizza (next best) The service has been terrific - polite and proactive. PERHAPS a one-off but the snow-flake taking the orders was clearly having a bad day and taking it out on the customers. Consequences = customer, apparently, isn’t always right. That’s a shame. Good pizza. Weak service today. I’m told the proprietor formerly ran Antler Tavern. It all makes sense now. (Good pizza nonetheless).
