“Breath of fresh air! Wife and I have been with banks for many years moving money to best cd rates & mon.mkt accounts. So prior to becoming a member here, the banks gave us the full court press to talk with their financial planner though we made it clear we don't desire one. We only park our money in decent % rate CD's. Here at genisys we didn't have that occurr. Extremely friendly knowledgeable staff. We hope to remain here, what a outstanding credit union we have here in Oxford.”

We built a home in 2020 and the construction loan process was smooth as silk throughout the build; our GC had zero issues with them nor did we.
The transition to LMCU mortgage after construction was completed with ease and any overages were not applied until final closing, i.e. no downpayment was required prior to construction starting. Brent Green and his team were amazing from start to helping us transition from a conventional mortgage to a VA loan which can be a nightmare but not with LMCU - it was seamless and pleasant. The communication was clear and thorough without any lag in responses when we had questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Additionally the ladies at the Rochester Hills location are so fun, friendly and helpful every single time I walk in which is maybe every other month or so.
Today, due to an "Acts of Kindness" LMCU does to give back to the community, we were randomly chosen to have our vehicle payment (another loan we have through them...also super reasonable and efficient) covered by them in January so the amount was deposited in our savings account today to be used at our discretion.

“Amanda Moore is hands down the best. Every single problem i’ve ever had she has gone above and beyond. I had an issue with fraud, she was on it and would follow up with me as much as possible. Recently my card would decline while trying to make investments and i’ve reached out to someone in the Genisys Chat through the app and nothing was solved. “I went to this branch for the first time to make an urgent transaction that needed to be made in person. I had some reservation due to the the poor reviews but I didn't have time to drive to another branch. I am happy to have walked in this branch despite my reservation. Carmie and her colleagues were kind with their time and attention to complete my transaction on time. Their colleague Heather followed up with an email confirmation of the transaction which facilitated my follow up with the other bank.
I rarely make transactions in person but am glad to know I can visit this branch for in person transactions.”
