We were traveling out of town from Kentucky to Michigan. On the start of our return home we had a flat tire. Luckily we were close to Harrington’s Auto Service. We stopped in and could see they were busy. The lady making an appointment on the phone showed a booked calendar on the computer screen. We told them our predicament. Mark, the manager asked one of his men if they had an open bay. They did and he immediately checked out our tire and repaired it. Not only did her repair it but suggested we get new tires when we got home. Told us the issues and said they would be fine to get us home. No up selling just good customer service. We were out in 30 minutes and on the road to home. If I lived close to their location, I would take my car there for service. They are friendly, helpful, and did a great service for us. Thanks for making our vacation have a good ending.

Do not give Harrington's Auto your business, this coming from a former long time customer. We have been loyal Harrington's patrons since we moved to the area in 2017. They were kind, quick, and great mechanics. But, something started to happen a couple years ago. My husband first had an electrical issue with his car that they couldn't diagnose the cause, whatever it really just effected his clock screen so he lived without it. Then last year i had an issue with my brakes, I had done some research and told them I thought they were warped. After several days they couldn't diagnose the issue and said to just drive it until it got worse. Well after a few weeks and it progressively getting worse to a point i was scared to drive my car I took it back and pleaded to look at it again. Well what do you know, my brakes were warped! Then I started to have an issue with my car not accelerating. I took it in, same thing couldn't replicate or diagnose the issue so they again said just drive it until the check engine light came on. Weeks later I was driving it, the issue happened and the check engine light came on. I took it in and even with the light they still couldn't figure it out. Ok, I asked for an oil change and I would pick it up. When I did go get it after hours the car wouldn't accelerate past 30 mph. I couldn't even drive it the two miles home, I had my husband drive it to see if I was crazy and he agreed that now they could at least fix it! Well they still said they couldn't replicate the issue, I have no clue how they got that car to accelerate at all let alone drive it normally. I said i was scared to drive it and at this point it was un-drivable. They said they would look into it again and found an issue with my turbo charger. At this point I had to pay for that repair and another oil change (even though I had JUST had one, hadn't even driven two miles in it with fresh oil) and $2,800 later they said it was fixed. I got my car back and the following day I had the accelerating issue AGAIN on the highway where I was almost rear-ended because I was unable to accelerate. At this point I am very frustrated. I called again upset after I was almost in an accident and said i was still having the issue but I didn't want to take it back if they would just tell me they couldn't replicate the issue. They assured me they would look at it and fix it. Well the next day I got a call and guess what, they couldn't replicate the issue! The solution was to just keep my car and drive it around until the issue occurred for them. At this point I am livid. I made them very aware that I didn't appreciate being jerked around and that I would take it somewhere else. I then heard someone in the background whistle the sheesh whistle and I lost it, after being jerked around for weeks now, almost rear-ended, paying a ton of money, I was also being so disrespected. I told them leave my car and I would pick it up Sunday when I was back. Well Sunday rolls around and when I get my car, it has a flat tire. What are the chances of that? Well the chances are zero because I got our portable compressor, filled it up, and it held air. How petty to let the air out of my tire to inconvenience me.
To summarize do not give Harrington's Auto your business because:
1. They probably can't fix your car.
2. When they can't fix your car they will not be honest with you about it.
3. They will be petty and unethical and retaliate against you to inconvenience you.

Highly recommend Harrington’s Auto! We have used them to service our vehicles every time and always recommend them to others. A most recent experience that goes to show how great of a company they are would be July 12th, 2024. I was headed out with my four young kiddos when my Yukon’s check engine light began flashing and the traction control light appeared and might steering wasn’t working correctly as well. I was close by and turned into their parking lot and let them know what was going on. Even with a completely full lot and in the middle of working on other vehicles they stopped and came to check out my car. After a few minutes they found a disconnected cable to one of my coil packs, they reconnected it and sent me on my way completely free of charge. So beyond thankful for the kindness Mark and Micah gave that day.

All my vehicles go here. My compass had front end issues. Got a great quote,took it in and had it back the same day. As I left kept hearing a strange pop. Called Mark ,said bring it back and we will check it out. Come to find out one of the front sway bushingshad not settled correct. They corrected that and went back over everything to make sure it was all correct. To boot,they had replaced my horn A YEAR ago,it had just quit. Took a quick look,found it was a fault part and warranted it. No cost! GREAT Place!!!

We’ve taken our vehicles to Harrington’s for several years and have always received quick, friendly, thorough service. We just got an oil change and Marked checked out the tires while he was at it. Great place!
