Lovely lay out and a very clean store but whatever happened to the customer is always right mantra? One very rude shop assistant become quite testy with us about something we had not control over. Insisting on getting the last word is never in vogue lady, never. Get yourselves some customer training.

Worst grocery store I've ever been too. Meat cuts are terrible compared to Meijer, price and quality. They are out of stock of basic goods and items throughout the week. Self check out is never opened and they usually only have 1-2 registers max with a little old lady working it. Fuck.this.store

The service is good and the people are nice. But they're always out of everything . They don't do substitutions very often . So if you plan on going there you can almost be guaranteed you'll have to stop someplace else to finish your shopping .

While I recommend this Kroger overall, it is starting to be by default only as there are limited other places to shop at. I know the Bakery here is essentially independent of Store Management, but I have repeatedly asked for you to carry Goldminer California Sourdough Toasted Onion Square Bread only to have it ordered ONCE and then never again. You see, I took the liberty of contacting them directly and they informed me that that bread variety was their number one seller in Michigan but yet you, Kroger in Lake Orion, seemingly refuses to sell it. Why? Furthermore, what happened to Russo's Onion Rye variety bread that you used to sell? A fellow can't even buy good bread to make sandwiches anymore. Pathetic. Horrible. I'm telling Mom.

Typically out of everything you need! Cashiers are extremely rude and you can tell they all hate their jobs. Only shop here because it's the closest grocery store to my house. If there was one closer I would never come back. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way

The employees make this Kroger the best one out there! Always positive, polite and knowledgeable.

Great location. Store too small to serve the community. Lake Orion township government should allow expansion of the store.

Pick up here is the WORST! They never substitute any of my items and they're consistently running HOURS behind.

I do not like how they prepare the orders. Why can't they put pieces of paper between the cheese slices? Why do they insist on placing the price sticker across the top of the bag when done? I can't stand that! Invariably the bag gets ripped when I try open it!

Meat counter is out of stock many times. Sunday and Thursday specially. The majority of the store is under stocked. The meat quality is poor when it is stocked. The store layout is poor especially the produce department, L shape that clogs up in the corner of the L and out of stock unless you shop early morning or middays. The deli counter understaffed. One person working the deli counter Sunday 9/8/19 between 5:30 and 6:30 pm, gave up after 15 minutes and bought prepackaged lunch meat. All of the above issues are not specific to this day and time, this is a regular occurrence. On this side of town Kroger is the only grocery stock since the loss of Hollywood market and they are taking advantage of not having competition. This was the last straw I will now make a longer drive for better quality, selection and in stock items.
