The staff are emotionally abusive towards children who are special needs. I strongly recommend not bringing your children into This school district who are diagnosed with learning disabilities or mental impairments.

Comment: Hello. The Superintendent of Onsted Community Schools will not return any of my husband's phone calls. We reached out for 3 weeks with no response or call back. We are trying to get a bus to pick up 6 of our children at the end of our road. The Transportation Supervisor says we're too far out of district to pick them up. We have talked to our neighbors and they told us that their kid's used to get picked up from there when they went to Onsted. Transportation Supervisor, and Dean of Students, Phil Stark says he can only go to the marina which is exactly 2 miles away. He says our drive is not a safe pick up spot. But the marina is even worse. IT'S IN A DIP WHERE THE BUS CANNOT BE SEEN, THERE'S NO ROOM TO PARK AND WAIT FOR A BUS THERE, AND IT'S ON A CURVE! TELL ME HOW THAT'S SAFE? He also says that he cannot put anymore miles on that route. But it was OK to drive another child an hour and a half away to another school. And that was just for "ONE" kid. Pretty much giving me lame excuses. Phil Stark is also black mailing me into coming back to drive school bus for him. That is the only way he will pick up my kid's. I have found a better job driving elsewhere with more hours and better pay. So pretty much he's just pissed off at me and has a corn cob stuck up his A*** Excuse the language. Mrs. Davis truly is a wonderful principle , I am so glad we decided to start our school journey with our daughter here. I am so great full! And the 4 year program is amazing!

My granddaughter attends and loves it. She was going to Madison School last year and switched to Onsted last year because kids were mean to her

I went to school here from k-12, and graduated from onsted. Its a good school with a lot of school pride. The only downside to this school is the slight drug problem, but thats not a problem that just onsted holds.
