We stayed there for two nights. It was very clean hardly any noise from the road. Would stay there again.Safety: Sending the code to get into your room was really good.

Your average small-town motel. Beds are less comfortable, rooms have a twang to the smell, a/c unit takes a couple hours to cool down the room. But it is indeed a safe place to lay your head for the night in Northern Michigan for less than $200!

We use this motel to stay as we are in the process of working on our own place. It's great to have a place right in town not far from any food or grocery that we may need that also doesn't break the bank. Any issues or concerns I've had have always been addressed and I would continue to use this motel for future stays.

I’ve never stayed at a Motel before but needed a cheap place to stay after visiting Ocqueoc Falls. It was clean and cute! The only negative is that the fridge did not work and the air didn’t seem to work well. But for $100 for the night, it exceeded expectations!

Not bad for the price. There were two double beds. AC in the back window. Coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave in the room. The bathroom was very small and stocked with toilet paper and a few towels. The room needs to be updated but not bad. The locks are like an air b&b they email you a code, so there is no need to check in, which was nice. We did see one maintenance guy once, but if you need anything, you'll have to send an email.

So I want to try n help clear up some of these nasty roomers! First and most importantly they're r no bugs except those that r out side! This place is still very clean and quiet! Yes, it does need work but nothing is really falling apart it's just older and I'm told they are getting ready to updated the place this year. No you can't talk to anyone on phone there but once you get there a person is on the property and helping in any way he can! I must say they go out of their way! Very nice and pleasant. This is my third return there in three years and I'm never disappointed. We will be back and I'm excited to see what's new changes the new owner will bring. I hope that helps some of you who think elsewise about this property. However down the road from them there is another motel I would never stay at! JsRooms: The shower is small but as for the rest of the room it is just fine.Safety: U must use a code to get into your room. Great locks!

This hotel is riding on reviews from previous owner.Loud from traffic and adjoining guests. Dirty room with cobwebs, spiders, and gunk in the corners. Impossible to reach people, as all telephone inquiries are met with direction to their website, which offers little information.

Very clean and comfortable as d. Very hands off with only on-line registration. Credit card was charged immediately. K-cup coffee maker but only flavored coffee. Yuk! Gas station is close by. Shower is quite small so you will not fall down. Just don't drop the soap. Shower head is quite high with works well for me at 6 ft 6 inches. Bring your own shampoo. Keypads on doors are quite dark until you hit the first number. Use your flashlight on your phone or your headlights after dark. I don't recall getting the wi-fi password but knew it from previous visits. The room was quite cool when I arrived but a space heater was provided. This worked very well to heat the room in short order to a comfortable level. I could turn it off when gone. Entry rug is quite small. I hate to make a mess and would have appreciated at least a small whisk broom and pan to capture any wayward snow. Maybe a runner across the front wall between the door and the chair? Room 12

Did not stay more than 5 min. Walked in the room panels were coming off the walls and smelled like something was dead in room. Requested a refund and never got it. Not recommend to stay here probly would have ended up with bed bugs.

You get what you pay for, overall the rooms were clean but some of the rooms just shouldn’t be rented out. We had 2 rooms because the first room had a ton of bed bugs in it and the second room had no heat working, I get it’s a cheap rundown motel but the rooms could use some help. On the upside the worker was very attentive and kind and did everything he could do to help.

We found this Establishment after an evening of bad luck, and the rooms were clean and well maintain3d for the most part. The Attendant was very pleasant to talk to, and was a great resource for tips about where to eat and whatnot. All the beds are size full beds, but they're very comfortable, and there is WiFi. Overall I would absolutely suggest Lyon's Motel to travelers in the future.

Clean and cozy.Friendly.We use the Motel as our base (we don't camp anymore)to visit family campers and do day trips to Macinaw and Lake Michigan.Comfy beds.?
