Worst experience. There are so many issues in the apartments and nobody responds for any issues even if it is emergency. We emailed multiple times, called them multiple times with no use. I don’t recommend this apartments at all. Even the saddle creek department people are so rude and they don’t answer you properly. Please do not join this community. We are having AC issue, dryer issue, dish washer issue, carpets are not washed before handing out, and many more. So many property damages and nobody looks into the issues. Very bad maintenance.

I've been a resident here from 8 months my experience has been less than satisfactory primarily due to the poor service and inadequate security measures.
The management's responsiveness to maintenance requests is extremely lacking. It often takes multiple follow-ups and weeks to get even minor issues addressed. This lack of promptness has made living here quite frustrating.

Horrible experience here! I just moved in 2 months ago. So many horrible things here and they don’t care! I love the area and apartments are cute but the guts of them are so bad! The pics I posted are just one thing. I had a water leak in my ceiling. I called the emergency number and a kid showed up. He did not take his boots off on my carpet and cut a hole in my ceiling and water just ran out on to my carpet! He put nothing down to protect it. As seen in the pics. It’s been 3 weeks and they have not came back to fix the hole in the ceiling! Meanwhile I got a $300 electric bill. I’m sure my air is cooling the ceiling hole. Not to mention my air runs non stop and barely cools the apartment! They will not deal with my $300 electric bill and don’t care. I’ve even contacted corporate and they do not care or call back. I had a heating and cooling guy come out and they said the heating and cooling system is so old and there is no insulation around it. So I’m stuck with these high electric bills! Saddle Creek said they will not replace it! Also the decks are old, the windows are filthy. They said they don’t clean windows outside. It smells like cigarette smoke in here coming from the vents. Again they don’t care! The carpet is old, they cleaned it b4 I moved in than all these spots started showing up. My electrical outlet switch in my main bedroom does not work. Two months later they sent a younger kid out to fix it and it still does not work. I have this horrible sticky substance on my kitchen counters and bathroom counters. They came out for my kitchen counters but it’s still coming back up. My toilet overflows sometimes when I flush it and the water in my tub goes up to my cafes when I shower with water back up. Need I go on? And if or when
Maintenance comes I asked if they could call first or schedule a time and date. They don’t and just come in. I’m just being honest here for anyone who is thinking of moving in these apartments at Saddle Creek in Novi. Maybe I just have a rotten egg here ?

Trash! Julian is very rude and disrespectful we went there he was in rush and just wanted us to leave he didn’t show us the apartment that we wanted to see, he didn’t even know what he was doing… every time we asked a question he seemed confused!

We went there to lease form 3 weeks ago the managers are so bad they don’t now what they doing over there, they don’t have patience at all. They just want to get rid of you as fast as they can. they don’t care at all. The owner of that property should change the management over there otherwise he’s gonna lose all the new residents who’s trying to live there.

I do Not recommend Saddle creek They do not take care of the property in the winter. we have to get our own salt and shovel. The apartments are not move in ready they are dirty. The manager will hide in her office when something is wrong. The rent goes up by a few hundred when it's time torenew your lease. The water is leaking through the walls causing mold and all we got was a email apologizing. Don't forget building 1-10 are on a different power grid and lose power if the wind blows hard. If something breaks in your apartment it takes weeks to get it fixed

We had our ceiling fixed by Jordan, and did a great job. He came over multiple times to finish the job, and even stopped by after it was completed to check up on how it all turned out.

My sister and I went and toured an apartment today, such a beautiful atmosphere! Very nice and homey throughout the complex, Julian I believe the office manager was SO polite and very welcoming and transparent throughout the process. Julian deserves a 10 star review! Seems like a nice place to live.

I lived here for about two and a half years and absolutely regretted it. I wouldn’t wish this overpriced, horrible, unsafe, disgusting place on anyone!-I would often feel unsafe in this apartment. My boyfriends car was broken into and there are car break-ins all the time. Our front door handle would often come loose, at one point it completely came off, and anyone could easily enter. This was after they “fixed” the doorknob. The window and patio locks seem to constantly break after they are “fixed.” We’ve also asked maintenance SEVERAL TIMES to call before they enter and they still do not listen. I once was getting in the shower and I had to scream to maintenance to give me a moment because he just walked right in. I was not happy and I was uncomfortable.-When we first moved in, the dryer was not connected and collected lint throughout laundry area and bathroom. They “fixed” it with using what looked to be tape and tinfoil. We still would often have lint everywhere. Fire hazard much?!-Once we were living here for about a year and a half, we found out the hard way that our water heater hadn’t been replaced since 2004, and it ended up leaking from the top very heavily, and flooded our kitchen and to our bathroom. We had to call emergency maintenance in the middle of the night and get our water heater replaced. The water was very poorly cleaned and we had to finish the job ourselves. They often do ‘preventative maintenance’ but I’m not sure what they’re trying to prevent.-A spot in my apartment bedroom flooded SEVEN TIMES before they could finally figure out the issue. One time when it flooded, it took maintenance days to come and clean up the water because it was the weekend. Once they cleaned it, I asked maintenance if they could lift up the carpet to ensure there was no mold because it was wet for days, and they looked at me like I was crazy, laughed at me and even seemed angry at the request, and REFUSED to check.-When we first moved in the apartment, it was disgusting. Dead bugs and spiderwebs everywhere, dusty, food stains on counters, and stains in shower. We had moving people coming that day so we had to clean it ourselves. We expected to move into a clean apartment.-Loose rusty nails and a screw were exposed in the pool and on the pool deck. Not very safe considering most people walk barefoot there.-Bathtub and bathroom sink clog all the time and they fix it every time, but there’s obviously a deeper issue because they’ve had to fix it at least 8-10 times in our two year stay. I always made sure little to no hair would go down the drains.-These apartments have very hard water and you can tell by the rust in shower drain, spots on your dishes, and the FLOATIES in your drinking water.-They painted over hair in the bathroom and the paint throughout apartment is always chipping off.-Once maintenance “fixes” your problems, they always leave a mess I have to clean up.-Closet and storage shelving have both broken on me.-Handles on drawers in kitchen and bathroom are always falling off or coming lose.I can’t believe how much they’re trying to charge people for less than 800sq ft for a one bedroom! Almost $1,500 a month and nothing is included. If they want to charge this much, they need to make some SERIOUS improvements.

Maintenance is very quick, which is really good!!
But the only complaint i have is the frequency in which there are power outages in the area!!! It’s just annoying
