I went early on a Saturday and there were only a couple people in the store... perfect. The place is clean and bright. The guy that helped me was fantastic and even made time to chat the craft. This store is fantastic I will be back.

Visited the Rockler in Novi, Michigan based on a YouTube video I watched on what a Great Place it was with Phenomenal Customer Service and expert sales staff. In get better service at Lowe’s, Menard’s and Home Depot that I received at this store. I was in there for 30 minutes browsing at all the Great stuff and not 1 of the 4 employees greeted me or asked in I needed any help. Compared to my Woodcraft in Grand Rapids where once I step through the front door I’m always greeted and asked if they can do anything for me. Very disappointed and there will be no reason for me to visit the Rockler when Woodcraft, Home Depot, Menard’s and Lowe’s offer better service.

We found exactly what we were looking for and the employee that helped us was knowledgeable, helpful, professional and friendly.I know the online ordering has a low rating, but in-person was good!

The new location is a wonderful upgrade to what was already a great store. Customer service has always been excellent and, as a woman in what feels like a male-dominated industry, I have always felt comfortable coming here. I do wish they had more scrap bins for wood blanks, but I do appreciate there offerings that they do have on a regular basis. I have not tried any of the classes here yet, but that is something I'm looking forward to doing this year!

If you are not a regular, or if they don't know you, then go elsewhere. The staff is rude and has no desire to help.

I bought a cnc and took a class and your employee Jamie that teaches class is honestly a great help! I honestly did not have any experience and he's got me going in right direction thank you Rockler!!

I called to ask if I could special order a can of Mohawk Ultra Toner in a color that they didn't stock but the person who answered the phone was oblivious to my request. He then told me if they didn't stock it they couldn't special order it which seems totally ludicrous. My past experiences with any store that sells a product can special order whatever that supplier manufactures. Either Rockler is not customer service oriented or the person who answered the phone isn't a team player.

We drove the hour and half to the store to be so very disappointed. If we wanted equipment, there was guite a selection. But im a wood turner and i was looking for finishing products like 2” sanding disks and such. Nope there was a couple pieces but the prices were so high I couldn’t consider. It seemed that every thing was way expensive when compared with my woodcraft store. Bowl blanks and wood planks while nice were wau too high for me to purchase, turn and sell to make a profit. Sales people weren’t particularly interested in helping us either. When i first got started in turning, Rockler was my go to store but yesterday i came home empty handed and sadly disappointed in the inventory selection and over all service. Ill purchase on line but wont be back to this store.

Literally a woodworkers candy shop. We have to reel ourselves in every single time we go there. If you aren’t sure about something, the people that work there are super knowledgeable. Just ask!Ohhh and they have classes too so you can learn! ❤️

Herb was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful when I stopped in asking for help with restoring the wood veneer on my antique sewing machine. How rare to find someone with such a wealth of knowledge and such integrity in this world!

When I first came to Rockler most of the staff was friendly. John helped me with picking out some wood for a project. Decided I wanted to learn how to use different tools and tricks of the trade so I took my first class with Gary making a charcuterie board. It was impressive how well he instructed the class. I like how small Rockler keeps their classes. After making the board I wanted to dive deeper into the trade. I ended up taking the coffee table class and had a great time and learned so much. These classes really help with the learning curve of things. Thank you Gary for the great experience and the things you taught me. I will always be a Rockler customer and tel my friends.

I love rockler but one employee didn't really know what products they had or was very familiar with quality or use ability. Hard to give 5 stars when I knew more than they did about what they sold
