I wouldn't recommend taking your ferrets here, they offer "adrenal implants" but they're actually omega three supplements and do nothing to treat adrenal. I recommend jolly road veterinary clinic for adrenal implants, or all creatures animal hospital, not this place

Awesome care! Dr Osborne is a well accomplished doctor who will give your pet the very best care! The staff is friendly. You will be pleased if you have service at this Veterinary Clinic. We have trusted our animals to Meadowbrook Veterinary for one 20 years.

I took my mini poodle here for the first time because I had a concern about his eye. I called on a Thursday afternoon and was able to get in for Monday as a new patient. The office staff was super friendly and all of the technicians treated my dog very nicely. They were able to give me some eye drops and the monthly maintenance medications.
From my personal experience, I would come back.

I have been coming to this vet for a few years and have always had an excellent experience until today. I just made an appointment for my cat which is scheduled a week from now. She is low on her meds and will run out before the appointment. I asked to have a prescription called in for her and the lady on the phone (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) refused stating my cat needs to be seen first. I advised my cat has been on tis med for almost 2 years (it is a behavioral med). She still refused so I was frustrated and just told her I guess my cut will just run out of meds and she hung up on me. I may take my services elsewhere now.

Very rude reception and unreasonable policy which makes no sense. My dog recently started on a Hills prescription diet. Before placing an order, I did a price check and found out that I would like to use Petco. When I asked Meadowbrook vet to send the rx to Petco, they refused saying that they don't communicate directly with vendors other than their pharmacy or manufacturer and that I have to sign the form stating that Meadowbrook is not responsible for the quality of the foods and get a written prescription. Did it even though it was questionable so I can start my dog on the diet. However, Petco needed a further approval from this office, but they didn't respond to them for a week, which delayed the care causing my dog's food to run out. So, I decided to order from Amazon, which had better price and will deliver the next day. When I called them this morning to ask them to be cooperative and to approve the order from Petco or Amazon, the receptionist first told me that they don't communicate directly with Petco or Amazon as they don't trust them because of the "validity" issue. When asked further, she said they will talk with Petco as they have Vetco but not Amazon because they don't trust online pharmacy and advised me to get the food from them or use their website to order it. They said they can't assist further because they provided a written prescription. I find too many issues with this situation.
1. Hills prescription, the manufacturer, lists Amazon and Petco as their online wholesaler. How is Meadowbrook telling patients that they don't trust them when manufacturer is approving it? They also told me that Chewy sold fake foods, but there is not a single article regarding this online or elsewhere..
2. They say they don't trust online pharmacy. However, they use Covetrus pharmacy, which is an online pharmacy. It just doesn't make sense.
3. It feels like a steering, which is disabling patients from choosing the pharmacy to get their medication, and it is prohibited in the state of Michigan. Prescriber is supposed to send the prescription to the pharmacy of "patient's choice" instead of refusing it and making me sign the form of no liability on Meadowbrook and providing me the written prescription with no further communication with the pharmacy. Prescription with no doctor's approval or communication makes prescription useless as patient won't be getting the medication.
I used to like this office because Dr. Osborne was thorough and caring, but because of rude receptionists and weird policy, I won't be returning to this office.

10/10, I wish I could give more stars to this place. I have a reactive dog and the staff here is always so understanding and caring when it comes to my pup. They treat us both with such care and genuine concern. I live about 3 towns away now, but I still make the trek to meadowbrook.

Although I drive from Flint to Novi for BOONER's Vet needs, the distance is well worth it. Everyone at Meadowbrook, from the front desk to Doctors have been so friendly and accommodating administering care for Booner, I couldn't be happier leaving him in their hands! The prices are fairer than those I was getting at my local Vet. Thank you all for being the loving, caring individuals that you are!

We’re done with this practice, which we’ve been using for our dogs since moving to Northville over 7 years ago. We were on the verge of switching vets last year, because we found the office atmosphere-and the “bedside” manner of the vets cold and impersonal. Every time we came in, we were treated as if it was the first time, and nobody seemed to remember us or our pets. The receptionist and vet techs don’t wear name tags and don’t introduce themselves, which feels very unprofessional. The only reasons we stayed were that our senior dog was dying, and a new vet there, Dr. Krista Stone, turned out to be helpful and compassionate and we were happy to work with her. Yesterday, we took our 5-month-old puppy to Meadowbrook to be spayed. I was told to expect 2 phone calls: one from Dr. Bertolucci, after the surgery, and a later one from the staff, with a pick up time. By 6 pm we were frantic with worry, and called the office, where we were told that someone had called us with a 5 pm pick-up time. We had received no voicemails or missed calls that day. Upon arriving to pick up our dog, we were told that someone had called that afternoon asking for an update on their puppy, and had been told that the operation went well and she could pick up her pet after 5.I took the initiative of calling Meadowbrook Animal Hospital in Rochester, to inquire whether they had had a client yesterday who called the wrong Meadowbrook. They confirmed this had indeed happened, however, the pet concerned was neither female nor canine. It was a male cat named Fluffy who was being neutered. So not only did the Meadowbrook Novi staff not ask for the name of the client and patient, they obviously weren’t even paying attention to the type of animal concerned. I don’t see how you can confuse a male cat with a female dog. The kicker is that when I phoned Dr. Joseph Osbourne, the owner of the Meadowbrook/Breckenridge practice, he was not at all receptive to my suggestion that-at a minimum-his staff be instructed to find out who is calling and about what pet. He was irritated and defensive. He seemed to feel it was completely reasonable for his staff to assume I was the caller. There was no empathy whatsoever with how concerned we had been, and only a perfunctory “I apologize.”

Very accommodating, knowledgeable and professional, giving sound advice. I've taken all my pets there for years and never regretted it.
