Get your crap together…. 150$ hold to pay at the pump with a debit card? You have got to be kidding me…… there is absolutely no reason to put a HOLD like that in anyone. Well I’ll never pump gas or grocery shop at Krogers again. I’ll push my car to the gas station before I EVER fuel here again.

So two weeks ago I go online and put in an order for a cake for my daughter’s third birthday. The day of her party I call and ask when the cake will be ready. Here is how the conversation went: Employee: oh we aren’t taking orders for cakes. Me: oh this isn’t a new order I ordered through your website a while ago. Employee: No we don’t do cakes at all anymore. Me: I got an email confirmation and everything! Employee: Well the system shouldn’t have let you. *crickets* Not ONCE did this person apologize, offer to look into the issue, show any concern, emotion, or ANY indication that they wanted to right this wrong. I called customer service and got more unkind service. I teach customer service skills for a living, so when I get crappy service it makes me even more upset. There was no empathy, no alternate solutions provided, they didn’t even offer to make sure the system was indeed updated so no future people aren’t left stranded on the day of a party. Thankfully Marv’s Bakery in Brighton stepped in and made up for Kroger’s horrible service. Tl;Dr: NEVER ORDER A CAKE FROM NOVI KROGER

I highly don't recommend this store. I got off work the other day and had to pick up a few groceries so I decided to stop here for those groceries. Bit as I'm walking through and grabbing what I need. I see this manager SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS at an employee over what sounded like that employee getting sick. And being in a professional work environment myself all day long, I see this as being extremely unprofessional and abusive. So I took it upon myself to see what her nametag said and noticed it said Ashley. Being a manager should not mean screaming at and abusing an employee like what I happened to see. I feel like something should be done and I really wish the best for the employee and hope she gets better.
