  I love Penney's. They have a great variety and their clothing is nice quality at reasonable prices. Their rewards program is a great bonus. I never leave disappointed - they have a nice selection of shoes, jewelry, undergarments, clothing and home goods. They are always my first stop when I'm looking to add something to my wardrobe.

  I always enjoy shopping at JCP, although the season transition seemed a bit slow. The sales rush took a lot off the shelves but bare shelves are not appealing to me personally.

  So, I swung by this JCPenney store on Novi Rd in Novi, MI. Gotta say, it was a pretty decent experience overall, worthy of a solid 4-star rating. The guy working there was really helpful in finding the right size for my suit. He knew his stuff and gave some good suggestions. The only downside was that they didn't have a wide range of size options in the store, so I couldn't try on all the variations I wanted. But hey, at least they had some options and the guy made it work. All in all, it was a good trip to JCPenney, and I left feeling satisfied.

  Karen and Sharon in the jewelry department are the absolute best!!!! They are so caring and helpful, and provided so many little tips for my wedding day!!! Every time i’m in there to get a ring cleaning or anything i need they make me feel so welcomed!!

  The store was very clean. It seemed well organized... I'm just not a fan of the fashions anymore, neither women's or home. Its great for little kids still...

  I had an item that went on sale which I purchased the day before. I had the receipt with me and was taking care of other exchanges and picking up an order. I realized my item was on sale and asked if I could receive a credit without having the item present since it had not even been 24 hours since purchase. I was told by the cashier (Assoc# 0916 4/15/2023 Store# 1623 Tran# 3665) that she had to have the item in order to complete a price adjustment. I know this is incorrect because just a few days prior I had a similar situation and was given the price adjustment. When I went to the Southland store customer service told me the info that was given to me was incorrect. There was a line but that has nothing to do with making up policies because you don't feel like the hassle.

  They had what I needed at a good price. Don't underestimate the convenience of being able to try on clothes before you buy them. No mailing hassles.

  I had been growing my hair out for my 5 years, so naturally, it was ridiculously long. The reason why I refused to get my hair cut for all that time is because I'm Greek and have extremely , extremely curly hair. Which wouldn't be a problem, except, due to my curls being so unmanageable, approximately 99% of all the haircuts I've ever had in my life have been absolute abortions. I'm talking so bad, I have to wear a hat for six weeks just to cover my absolutely abominable haircut so people don't recoil in horror when they see me.That being said, The Stylists at The JC Penny Salon are so skilled, I can only describe it as supernatural. The owner's name is Holly and she's the biggest sweetheart in this world. She delegated the job to what she described as her best stylist and I'll be dammed if she wasn't truly her best. She gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had in my life. So good, I'm eternally indebted to them. If you have any doubts at all, I get it because it's your precious hair- but trust me. They'll do so well, you won't believe it when you see yourself in the mirror, that they've made you into the best version of yourself.In summation, 10/10.Will not only return for another haircut, I'll be returning for the rest of my life. Love ya Holly! Can't wait to see you again. And as for my stylist, the same goes for you. You are a master stylist. Thank you for making me look like a Greek God again!

  Jay was very helpful and friendly. He helped us find what we needed. The restrooms were clean. Amazing shoe sale. 2 Pairs of boots for 15 bucks.

  JC Penny sales have returned. The previous management decision to not discount or offer coupons made the pricing almost prohibitively expensive. Recommend you try it next time you are in the area.

  I'm really starting to think JCPenney is actively trying to go out of business. I had hundreds of dollars of clothes in my arms. I drove 30 miles from out of town to go to this particular JCPenney. Not one dressing room is open. None. Everyone is allowed to enter the store maskless, no other COVID protocols in place, so the dressing rooms being closed is obviously not for COVID safety. The dressing rooms at my local store are open so it's not even a corporate decision, it's the store management making these decisions. Why tank your holiday sales and add more stress to your already stressed out staff? Whoever is in charge should be canned. Whatever. I guess they don't want my money and I guess I no longer want to be a Platinum credit card holder for JCPenney. Even their 50% off everything in the store plus my JCPenney rewards still doesn't make up for wasting my time, travel, and energy. Good luck, goodbye, and good riddance!!

  Long lines at the register and only a few registers open . The shoe department needs a larger selection and variety. I'm not sure if they were so many new people because they are getting ready for the upcoming holiday season. The MOD did offer verbal assistance but walked away before making sure transaction went smoothly. It didn't it took 40mins and another cashier before I left. Long story short, my online order never came. Not sure I will go back.

  Visited Penney's for dresses for two teens to wear to a wedding. The juniors section of nice dresses was only a few racks and didn't have much in the way of selection with color or length. We wandered over to the woman's section which had a nice selection, but nothing in a size smaller than a 4, when the girls were a size 2 and 0. I even checked online, and a lot of the styles simply didn't go below a 4. That was really frustrating for them when they were finding dresses they liked but not in their size. I wouldn't recommend shipping here for formal occasions if you have a teen or are a smaller woman.

  This is the closest JCP to me, and it's your average JCP. They try to keep it clean and organized, but we know how Novi people are. We are a mess and just throw things around. Sometimes you can walk in here on a Saturday and it's a zoo, and the clothes are just thrown everywhere. If you have a coupon, or just want a cheap shirt, head to this JCP.
