After going and calling around to multiple places to get an alignment done on my lifted truck they were able to get me right in to perform the alignment and replace some parts that had been worn out. I will recommend this place everytime!

Let me share a recent experience. I took my car in recently for a front end check/possible alignment. I was told the front left lower control arm and sway bar link were bad, price of $830 to replace. I had the part replaced for 200 but the person I had doing mentioned that it didn't seem bad and that the other side was where all the movement was coming from! I drove the car a couple days and it was in fact dangerous! I replaced the control arm on the other side for another 200 and had the car aligned. Drives great! The moral of this story is that not only was the initial diagnosis (which I paid for!) incorrect but it led to my driving with a dangerous condition when it was determined to be the wrong control arm. I now have 2 new control arms installed with the car aligned for roughly $450. Just about half of what the initial repair would have been! Lets speculate that if I had them do the repair and they had uncovered their mistake would it have then been 1600 plus to replace both control arms? The lower left one possibly not needing it? A reader can draw their own conclusions!

8am appt for an alignment and home a little after 9am. Only because they said the brand new ball joints and wheel bearings had too much slop. Never even used a bar to move them. Obviously didn't want to do the work.

I want to update my review of Harold's. Two weeks ago, because they took my complaint seriously, they replaced both the wheels they damaged, I am very grateful for this as I feel it was the fair thing to do. I respect them for that. I told them the part number and they ordered an exact replacement. I was very happy for the replacement.Recall I went to Harold's for an alignment. Prior to the alignment I asked if they inspect the suspension, "Of course, we will let you know if any repairs are needed." After the alignment, I specifically asked if anything needed to be repaired on the suspension and if everything looked ok? "Everything looked good under there" was what I was told prior to paying the bill. After receiving the two replacement wheels from Harold's; I took the tires and wheels to a different shop for mounting. While on the lift, we looked at the suspension, and the ball joints are clearly worn out. The rubber is worn and the grease is coming out. This is an obvious sign they are worn out and they need replacing. A quick visual is all that is needed. Harold's should have spotted this issue immediately. Further, had they mentioned it, they could have replaced the ball joints and made additional revenue on the repairs. I feel that if the ball joints are worn out to the obvious state they are, then it could be a safety issue, especially on Michigan roads. Now I must replace the ball joints and get another alignment, making the first alignment pointless and a waste of money. After Harold's replaced the wheels they damaged, I was going to update and improve the rating I gave them. Upon seeing the ball joints needed to be replaced as such an obvious and potentially dangerous miss, I feel I cannot upgrade their rating. I will not be going back to Harold's.

My car was making an annoying, squeaking sound. Doug was gracious to schedule a (last-minute) appointment to have my vehicle checked out. The mechanic (Rob) spent time inspecting it but was unable to pinpoint the cause. He applied a lubricant, which resolved the issue. There was no charge since (according to him), he didn't have to perform any "repairs." I value knowing that I can entrust my vehicle to people of integrity. I would refer them again and again!
