I have purchased a fair amount of furniture from Ethan Allen over the last few years and the experience has been nothing but positive, despite delivery delays during Covid! I especially have to comment on the amazing follow-up customer service provided by Mason Sovey. Mason has gone out of his way to handle any and all issues and I can’t thank him enough! Overall great experience but Mason provides customer service at a truly exceptional level and guarantees I will be a repeat customer!

This was my very first time shopping at Ethan Allen, and I wasn't disappointed. I chose the Novi store because it was very close to my home. I feel very fortunate to have had Laura Alexander be the designer available to assist me. From the moment she introduced herself, I knew I was in capable hands. Laura guided me through many hours of choosing furniture, decor and bedding. I was very impressed with the quality of the merchandise. The showroom is beautiful, and the staff is very kind. For me, Laura stood out among them all for her patience, understanding, and ability to help me put together room after room of amazing choices both in color and comfort. That's really want I wanted was to have someone guide me without pushing me into anything I didn't like. Laura exceeded all of my expectations. Her professionalism and knowledge is what you can expect from Ethan Allen. To the company and management team, I say how fortunate for you to have a designer like Laura Alexander working for you who is a customer's dream and the total package. Looking forward to many years of enjoying all of my wonderful purchases from Ethan Allen.

June was my time to purchase new bedroom furniture, so I visited Ethan Allen of Novi. When I walked in, I was greeted by an energetic and smart design consultant who made my shopping experience exceptional.
The design consultant, Katie Puga, was a breath of fresh air. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and her knowledge of the products was impressive. She took the time to understand my needs, requirements, preferences, and budget, making personalized recommendations that perfectly matched my style. Katie's expertise helped me select my final choice, and her friendly personality made the process enjoyable.
One of the standout moments of my visit was when I discovered my Ethan Allen credit card (managed by a third party, not Ethan Allen) had been closed without my knowledge the month before. Katie handled the credit card company and new application seamlessly, ensuring all my details were reinstated accurately and efficiently. Her attention to detail and professionalism were top-notch, giving me confidence that I was in good hands.
Thanks to Katie's guidance, I found the perfect bedroom set that not only met my aesthetic preferences but also fit my budget. The quality of the furniture exceeded our expectations, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The entire experience, from browsing to finalizing the payment, was smooth and stress-free, largely due to Katie's exceptional service.
I highly recommend this Ethan Allen of Novi, especially if you're lucky enough to work with Katie. Her energy, intelligence, and dedication to customer satisfaction made all the difference in my shopping experience. I am looking forward to returning to work on my great/dining room furniture needs!

Marissa from the Novi store provided us with the best experience we could have asked for. After looking for furniture at several others stores and not finding the furniture or experience we hoped for we scheduled a consultation with Marissa in Novi. With so many custom options and a 3D design to make sure everything fit both in size and cohesion we came up with a beautiful living room. Ethan Allen has quality custom furniture and I wouldn’t want to shop anywhere else.

Thank you so much to Marissa Teschner at the Novi, MI location. She came out to my house, took measurements and came up with a really beautiful design, putting it in a 3D program that really allows you to envision what the space will look like. Can't wait for the delivery!

We started our journey with Raquel Restum, our Ethan Allen Design Consultant, about 9 months ago, shortly after construction started on our new home. Fortunately my wife has some architectural design in her background and even more fortunate, Raquel was the person who worked with us. I was clueless, but Raquel immediately picked up on our decorating tastes what we liked, didn't like, and together with my wife in true teamwork fashion was able to put together and furnish our entire home, and all of the window treatments. I (we) just can't say enough nice things about what a great experience we had under Raquel's direction, advice and project management, as every detail was attended to and personally monitored by her. Raquel's the best, she has allowed us to realize a dream come true. Ethan Allen is quality and competence from start to finish. Thank you!!

Our upholstered headboard bed is beautiful. The delivery and installation was great. The best part was our customer service. Marissa from the Novi store was our designer and she was wonderful. She made the experience 5 stars. Thank you Marissa!

I love Ethan Allen. Jamie our sale person was great. She went above and beyond to help us get the right items. I am not a designer, and I am a very visual person. She created a 3-D image to help me see how my new bedroom set would look in my room. when one of our pieces became unavailable, she contacted other stores personally. Jamie, we appreciate everything you did for us, and we will be returning to Ethan Allen in the future.

Went into the store with my girlfriend over the weekend wanting to buy some new furniture for our house, the lazy women (there were two) couldn’t even look up to greet us when we walked in we walked half way through the store before they came to talk. I would not recommend going to this location.

Steer clear of the Ethan Allen Nacella braided wool basket weave rug if you're about to spend 2K on it and expect this rug, which the company describes as a "treasured heirloom", to look great for longer than a year and a half. A large (expensive) version of the Nacella rug comes with dozens of spots where ends of braids are joined in order to continue with the weave (not very attractive but acceptable). After some time, though, just over a year, the adhesive used to hold these braid ends together turns dark brown, almost black and looks, in dozens of places, like dirt literally. I bought rug insurance from EA that sadly doesn't cover a manufacturer defect that came to light after the manufacturer's 1 year warranty expired. (It covers only accidents.) I'm very disappointed that Ethan Allen didn't even try to stand by its product, and that my 'heirloom' rug is so flawed.

I bought a table set for my living room paid over $4,000 for them and after 6 months not even 6 months they look like I bought them from a garage sale! The paint is chipping off the wood! I’m so disappointed! Called to talk to the manager about this she said to me she will come to my home to take a look at them gave me an appointment and never came! Her name was Tracy. What a bad experience this is for me I will never spend a dollar in that store ever again. I spent almost$ 20,000 in that store I wish I would of bought my furniture somewhere else. These people don’t care or respect their customers.

I had trouble with delivery at this location and had to reschedule my delivery twice, once due to the warehouse losing power (I get it, most of metro Detroit lost power that week), and once because the scheduler failed to inform the delivery company about my HOA allowed delivery window (this one was very frustrating as I took a day off work for this).I also had a difficult time exchanging the base board of my bed for a smaller one. The height of the bed with my mattress was comical and I needed a thinner base, but this wasn't discussed with me during the original sale. The salesperson was condescending and tried to make it my fault and give me unwarranted advice on how to use the base since I couldn't exchange it. She cited "health reasons" because the plastic was removed. The movers removed the plastic, I did not ask them to, and I called to nicely request an exchange less than 2 hours after the delivery. After this was escalated to management, it was resolved, so I have updated my review from 1 to 4 stars.
