Second time coming for the birthday build a bear. I actually prefer the Kiosk over the store at Somerset. Patrick was so kind and patient , a wonderful experience for my daughter. He was very arttentive to details and even asked her questions about kindergarten. Zero pressure to buy clothing or an upsell. I have felt pressure in previous visits at other kiosk/ stores. I would recommend coming here. It is located half way to the old Sears past Biggby coffee stand.

I went to get my daughter a birthday bear for her 3rd birthday! It is one of the best promotions and I'm so glad it's something build a bear continues to do. All the staff were so sweet, patient and professional. You can tell they love what they do for the kids and they were just as excited as she was to make the bear. We will definitely be coming again next year!!

It's not a store anymore just a kiosk but the staff made my time with my children incredible.
Our last expense at great lakes was horrible and so for 12 oaks to mend that is amazing.

Outstanding experience for our daughter’s birthday. Mark was absolutely a joy and is amazing with the kids. All of the staff was so sweet tho and mark definitely made it an unforgettable experience! Will definitely be back again! Give mark a raise they’re awesome!!

Had a wonderful experience with Mark my daughter is so shy I brought her to build a bear and by the time we were done my super shy daughter asked Mark for a hug! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience Mark! I can't thank you enough for the special attention you gave us I am still shocked that she opened up ask you for a hug. You made my day...love 2 crazy Pisces lol

This is no longer a store front but a kiosk in the mall. Prior photos are not accurate. They still have a decent size selection of animals, but only a couple of clothing options now.

Make sure you call before heading to the store! I arrived early and then spent over a half hour after opening waiting around only to be told that no one had any clue when or if they would open. I ended up having to drive out to Troy to get what I needed. A sign at the kiosk would be super helpful!

The people who work here should not. They will ask you if you want a box WITHOUT telling you it costs extra, overcharge you on an item and say you have to purchase it AGAIN for it it be adjusted, and take forever just to ring you up! Avoid! Also, purchased a sound that you can barely hear. I have a near I purchased from the company over 10 years ago and it’s still louder than the one I got today.

There was a girl working here on 10/30/23 at around 4 o’clock. I asked her for a pen and she threw it at me, and as we walked away she gave us a nasty, dirty look. She was working with a guy named Travis, who was very kind and accommodating.
