Dr. Leslie is an absolute gem. She has been phenomenal with our dog and is not only gentle, kind and compassionate but takes the time to calm the dog down while address all of our concerns. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a vet to look no further. We are forever grateful for finding her!

Briarpointe Veterinary is a godsend. If you are looking for a small office where you get to know the drs and staff, they may be for you! We’ve been coming here for over 20-years. The vets, Dr. Parker & Dr. Shocksnyder, are fabulous. They take their time in examining our pets, and in explaining their findings, helping us to better understand our pets’ needs. They have routinely & kindly returned our telephone calls when we have questions. They have supported us through times of worry & concern, helping us get to the specialists we needed, and later helping us to better understand the findings in a more complete context of our pets’ health. On top of great veterinary care and treatment, the staff at Briarpointe is also tops. Whether calling for med refills, to schedule an appt, with questions or concerns, we have only been met with prompt & kind response. The techs are skilled, compassionate and are also fantastic with our pets. The office feels like home, and our dogs enjoy the pets and treats they get while there. Briarpointe will be hard to replace when we move.

I love Briarpointe, they took me in when the pandemic came and no one else would, she was a new puppy and they have been her vet since. Dr. Leslie is so nice and answers all my questions. My Thanks to everyone there.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Parker for years with no real issues. I had to bring my dog in for a blood test and this new Dr. Leslie poked my dog 6 times, in the neck twice, both front legs, and back legs. She couldn’t even hit a vein to draw blood. This is seriously scary!! She ran out of the room to get a muzzle which my dog didn’t even need. My dog was so scared and was shaking due to this Dr. Leslie’s incompetence. After putting on the muzzle, she attempted to poke her again and still couldn’t find a vein. At that point, I said we are done here!! Dr. Leslie didn’t even apologize for her incompetence. She just left the room like nothing happened, I will never bring my dog to this Leslie ever again. I can’t believe that she is a practicing vet. Dr. Parker never had a problem drawing my dogs blood. I have never had any of my dogs over the years be poked more than twice for a blood test. This is a serious problem if you can’t even trust a veterinarian to draw blood. Plus she charged $65.00 for an exam which is pricey for one dog.

Dr. Parker is the Best. I do not trust anyone else. Been seeing him since 2010 and saw him for the last time on Monday. My animals had the absolute best care and I will be able to carry that with me for the rest of my life.

One of my two cats had tore her toe nail. I called the office and got the appointment on the second day. It was good that the nail part was not that serious. Then I got my both cat annual shots done during the same appointment. Super efficient!

We’ve been going to Briarpoint for decades (3 dogs & 2 cats). The doctors as well as the entire staff are always so friendly and sincere. They are straight forward and don’t push for unnecessary services. They are professional and sincere. We feel our furry family members are well taken care of there.

The new owner of Briarpointe Clinic is Dr. Leslie Shocksnyder, (whom we have gone to for 10 years while she practiced at VCA Clinic in Farmington Hills.) Dr. Leslie is kind and patient and takes a lot of time answering any questions! Briarpointe Clinic has a calm and quiet atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend!!

Dr. Parker and his staff are amazing. We have been going to him since our first Golden 20 years ago. We now have a second Golden. The care and love they have given to our Lutsen and Tilley is just the best. Our dogs have always been so comfortable going to the Vet, you can't ask for more. Thank you for all you do.
