Outstanding customer service! The sales associate that helped fit me for boots was patient through all of my questions. I had an issue with one of the bindings that I’d purchased and the manager went above and beyond to make sure my gear was in working order.

This happened many years ago but I figured I’d share anyway. I bought a new board back in 2016. Went to this location to get bindings. The bindings were great and fantastic quality. At this time the channel locks were rising in popularity for Burton. The worker who helped me pick my bindings out was fully aware of how the board was set up as they had the exact snowboard I purchased in store. It wasn’t until a few years later I realized that the channel locks were just a terrible design and my bindings would slide back and forth while I was riding. My solution was I must have to tighten them more. Come to find out several years later the pucks that have the screw holds for the binding were not the correct pair I needed for the channel setup on the burton board. So the employee clearly didn’t know what he was talking about or doing. So I decide to take them into the store to see what the problem was. I learn I need a special type of puck for the channel setup and decide to purchase them there. ( They should have been free for the mistake this employee made many years prior) then when the employee looked at my board he told me “oh you need a new board see these indents on the bottom” this employee then explains that the screws I was given when I originally bought my bindings were to long for the channel setup on my snowboard and had punched through the bottom and created indents that ultimately have ruined my board according to the current employee. I am very disappointed in the fact that back in 2016 when I purchased the bindings the employee who worked there at the time gave me the wrong pucks and screws that lead to destroying my snowboard. Fortunately I am not any expert in snowboarding so I still use this board today but I can’t believe how hundreds of dollars of equipment was ruined according to your employee, caused by one of your previous employees. To be honest I wish I could get a free snowboard for the damage caused but I understand it was so long ago that it’s to late now. I wanted to write this for whatever manager may see this and realize you need to tighten up your work force as this was an insane mistake by your business. I will gladly bring the board in if I get a response to this post.

I went to this place in hopes to find some snowboard boots & bindings for my son to check out. We have not found any other stores that have anything on hand, so it was very refreshing to find this place. John ended up helping us out and was phenomenal! My son is pretty quiet and reserved, but felt very at ease while John was helping us out. He took a decent amount of time with us and he gave my son some great pointers on the boots and bindings he ended up buying. Thanks so much, John, for making this father/son experience so great. The store has a great amount of products for skiing and snowboarding. The facilities were also very clean and pleasing to use. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Thanks again for the great service John!

Called twice to figure out cost of fitting boot to binding, was told $35. Got to the store and 1st thing the guy says is $150 because I didn’t buy the skis there. What difference does it make? I will never spend another penny there.

Staff is always great, helpful, and informative. Never pushy. I love to shop the discount sections here. Only reason I can deduct a star is because they don't have as good of a snowboard apparel section as I would hope for. Just a handful of old and familiar brands. I feel like they are a little disconnected from popular snowboard trends, as let's be honest they are truly a ski shop that carries some stuff to sell to the people in a family thar don't ski.

Bought a 300$+ snow pants from them, only wear one time and it had a tiny cut, poor quality for what you pay for. And according to their policy, they won’t help fix it or refund or replace, better to go with REI.

Junior Has A Fit program is great for little skiers. Trade in skis and boots at end of season and get replacements for growing kids.

I bought my ski and got my boots tuned here. Mounting binding and ski took about 1 hour. Boots fitting was professionally and prices are reasonable. Compare to Sun&Snow and REI, I prefer here overall.

I have had nothing but an amazing experience with this store and their employees. I have been using this store for several years for the junior ski program and have received fantastic service. Coming in to get fit is something my kids look forward to every year. This year, I purchased boots at the store, Brandon did a phenomenal job getting my fit dialed in. Additionally, the team there has made sure to solve any equipment issues i have experienced and made sure i had the proper equipment for me and my skiing style. I highly recommend them!!

If you are looking for a great local business to support in Novi, our family has always had a great experience here. Today we visited to get my son geared up for the season.
