Just ordered a corset top online and it’s so cute! It also arrived faster than expected. I love shopping at the Novi location but recently started looking around online because I live kinda far. Great quality for the price; this is my third purchase. Thanks for making alternative styles more affordable. :)

Clothes are pricey and the cashiers will have you there for a long time. They need to cut these lines without having us wait 10 min. Nice variety of clothes and nice atmosphere (people and music) though.

Woah… I walked in the store today for the first time in months, and it was like a zoo. Pure chaos and confusion. Loud staff. I used to come into this store all the time, but the vibes were just different with the store today. There’s also a lot of new people, so that could be the issue. But the music is super loud, you can barely move around the store with all of the clothes— it’s becoming junky in there. My overall experience with AKIRA today (both in store and over the phone) wasn’t up to par, and was simply distasteful. I’m disappointed to say this about a store I used to love, but I’m going to have to look for similar stores to shop and cut the store AKIRA off entirely.

Seeing as Akira is one of my favorite places to shop I'm never disappointed. Pieces here are what some consider one of a kind or unique, but you won't see too many people with what you decide to buy from here its always going to give you THE look! Staff in store is also very helpful, big THANK YOU to Miss Raven who assisted me in searching for a top I've been dying to have.

I love this website! I didn’t know until recently that they had a storefront. I went there and the staff was so helpful and polite! I sometimes mix with other brands or I wear thee whole look. Either way yA gonna look good! Only thing is now ppl can find some of my looks doggonit ?

Rude rude BEYOND RUDE African American manager who LITERALLY snapped at me, as I was ATTEMPTING to walk in to browse this evening at approximately 7:50 (10 minutes to 8pm…when you close at 9pm). She LITERALLY held a long stick (tool with sharp metal point to CLOSE the metal gate) and pointed it at me and snapped “this entrance is closed”. I replied “really? Looks *explanative* open to me”How hard is it to let someone who’s halfway in the door pass you? The grate wasn’t down. She was WALKING OVER to put the grated metal door down. She glared at me and literally made me feel unwelcome. My boyfriend was upset and couldn’t believe how targeted her slight aggression towards me was- all I wanted to do was come in. You were NO WHERE NEAR closed. And to point at me with a metal stick? How RUDE can you be? I’ve wanted to check out this store FOR MONTHS and went from smiling and excited to shop- to angry wanting to go back and give that lady a piece of my mind. She doesn’t need to be in customer service. That’s the ONE THINGS YOU DONT DO to a customer. Block them from coming in the door. I will NEVER shop here. Felt targeted. Unwelcome. I hope she snaps at someone else and gets fired. You don’t act like that.

Had a wonderful time in the store! It was my first time; my cousin took me and was overwhelmed with choices. Little pricey worth the money, you’ll pay the same price online. The lady at the dresser room and who cashed me out was wonderful?

To Say the staff is nice is an understatement. They go above and beyond to make your you have the help you need. I had three sales people helping me. The Manager helped me charge my phone to make a payment with tap pay! I love shopping here and will continue to have an amazing experience!

Customer service- we entered the store 10minutes before closing 7:50p (not knowing) as soon as we entered a lady with blonde hair stated they were closing in 10min, sort of gesturing us to leave.. so we did not leave and just browsed. Meanwhile there were three other woman in the store still browsing and using the dressing rooms. She started saying things towards us like “I don’t understand why people are still here” and actually came up to us stating they were closing for a third time. She literally put us out while other people were shopping and she was also assisting a person with finding shoes and complimenting things they were going to purchase. I watched and she not once rushed any others customers in the store to leave.

CAUTION: they will only return for store credit with a receipt, even though it was purchased last week. They dont tell you anywhere in the store until you try to return. Use your credit quick if they go bankrupt you will get 0. And DONT shop here.
