In the 10 years that I have been in business-- The Accounting Office is the only CPA that has been able to get my personal and business taxes done on time (I have been through 3). I like that I pay them monthly, and that is more feasible then getting slammed with a huge bill every year. In addition I really appreciate the meetings the team lead schedules with me 2 or so times per year to discuss projections and teach me about what certain reports mean and help me to understand what they need from me to make the process go smoothly; and to mitigate surprises.

DON'T BE FOOLED that this is a local accounting office and the positive reviews are from 3 years ago plus. They are owned by a company called Prevail in Boston. The owners sold out and left every one there to fend for themselves .I have been a client for close to 20 yrs and this was the worst year ever having them do my business accounting. They might get better, but for now I would stay away. It is not worth the aggravation or all of the penalties and late fees that I had to pay. UPDATE: They terminated my account without even knowing I had already left.

Missed basic deductions like mileage. When corrections submitted, not acknowledged, and they keep sending me the elevated return to sign without any corrections. The people who I signed up with no longer work there. There was an outstanding balance last year I was told by previous owner to disregard, only to have to pay it after he left his position.edit: they've ignored three of my emails just asking them to confirm if my return is being worked on for mileage deducted and some expenses they missed... three since last week... and still no response, but they are able to respond to this google review pretending they want me to reach out.

They were good while working with them, but it was a nightmare when I switched accountants! I stopped working with them about 4 years ago and they are still going at it. I received (and still do) harassment, and they started sending bills to my house for work that was never asked for nor done.When I refused to pay for work that wasn't done, they sent it to the bill collector. I got it resolved. Four years later, I just received another debt collection for $130. They are crooks and I would be very leary of working with them at all costs.

I have been working with The Accounting Office for almost 2 years now. The price is extremely fair for the services they provide. I personally work with Justin and Dan most of the time within this office and they have been fantastic. Kayla was great to work with as well.

The entire team is very thorough and professional. They keep the financials for both of my businesses clean and up to date much better than I ever did, and they free me up to focus on other business priorities. Their value far outweighs their fees.

I have used this firm for personal and business accounting for almost a decade, they are amazing! Many accounting firms simply "file tax returns." The Accounting Office does so much more than filing forms, they are strategy planning accountants. They are knowledgeable with current tax law, tax strategies and make suggestions to make sure you don't pay more than your share of taxes. They can manage your quickbooks reconciling and show you where you may save money or manage business operations more effectively. I recommend this firm to anyone who asks me for a referral to an excellent accountant.

Coleen has taken VERY good care of my business since 2017. I work with Jessica a couple times a month as well as the team throughout the year to keep my business clean and neat and help me keep the money I deserve!

Without a doubt the most professional firm I do business with. They have been extremely helpful with my accounting and taxes, and more importantly, zealous advocates for myself and my business. If you need an accounting firm that works as hard as you do in your small business, you need look no further. My only regret is not calling them sooner.

Always have ancers to my questions and helpful ideas. It is nice to know you have professionals on call for help. Having a small business spreads my time thin but with there services I dont have to stress about my accouting.
